Wild show. Felt very political with songs like Daughter, Glorified G, I Am A Patriot, Leash, Gimme Some Truth, Rocking in the Free World, etc. With the election coming up, and following yet another school shooting, felt like the band had something to say.

But there was also a lot of joy and laughter and fun. Especially at the end with Sonic Reducer and Rocking in the Free World.

I have so many thoughts about tonight and will report back fully but for now cannot stop thinking about and laughing at the idiots there yelling at Eddie while he was speaking or booing his message about women’s rights or his spiel on guns. I thought maybe some years of educating and lived experience would help this fan base but it seems it is as misogynistic and idiotic and tone deaf as ever. Pretty disappointing to see from the crowd of mostly middle aged white men, but I still really enjoyed the show.

Main set was great, the encore was brutal until the final few songs. You’ve got a rabid MSG crowd in the palm of your hand and you have the rest of the band sitting in the back while Eddie does two covers and Just Breathe? Could’ve been a classic but not to be. Too bad whatever member of the band who was arguing with Eddie about the setlist during the encore break didn’t put their foot down. Seeing Little Steven was cool though.

Fortunately there was nothing but love, good behavior and support in my section. I do wonder if the booing you heard was actually people agreeing with Eddie and booing the troubling state of women’s rights? Is that possible?

And that is exactly why shows are extremely subjective. The encore was a brutal slow burn. Still PJ so good, but sheesh.

Encore was absolutely brutal. Cover after cover after cover. No thank you. Ruined the show for me. Could’ve easily been a classic. What a terrible decision.

A stellar 2 night run where the setlist tonight not only filled in last night gaps but also surprised us (Patriot Glorified G Sonic Reducer and Leash)

I was pit night 1 and 200 s tonight so I can’t tell what crowd was better. But tonight seemed to have more WOW moments i think???   Great 2 shows I thought

Funny - I thought the misstep in the encore was Just Breath. I would have ditched that and added one more rocker (Go?) after Glen, but the covers didn’t bother me. I agree that three sit-down songs was too many. Not enough to ruin a good show though IMO.

Terrible encore. The energy totally got sucked out and my section of middle-aged people never recovered 😂😂 There were no assholes in my vicinity, but the wind got taken out of the sails with too many slow songs. These slow sets made sense when they were doing two encores and 3 hour shows but didn’t work tonight.

I do like seeing Happy Ed. My favourite line: He’s a stand up guy,  standing friend and that’s a standup bass. Ed was quite proud of that one 🤣🤣

Suffice to say I enjoyed N1 much better.

Shout out to MSG: great organization, friendly staff and like OMG there was no line at the merch stand I went to like what. And lots of air circulation inside, it was cool and comfy and I didn’t feel like I was suffocating. Entry and exit were a breeze. So proud as a New Yorker ✌🏼

Another great show. Main set was excellent, and the energy from the crowd was incredible. Much better than night 1. The encore had a bunch of highlights and fun moments, but a ton of covers and a lot of songs without the full band. I got the feeling that Ed still writes out the encore as if they are playing 2 - if that were the case, this really wouldn’t be too bad. As it was, it was a little deflating.

Highlights: WFS, Won’t Tell, Not for You, Leash.

Overall super grateful to have sent these shoes and can’t wait for Philly!

Thought this night was gonna crush night 1, then the encore came and sucked the room dry. Very good show, but they really fumbled the bag big time at the end.

I had some of the booing people in my section and nope. They wanted Eddie to shut up and kept yelling “Chicago had 57 murders last weekend” and “shut up” , one guy yelled about Harris and another “you’re not taking my gun”.

    😂 tell em!

I honestly didn’t mind the encore. It reminded me of the good times where this was a regular part of the set. Ed plus Glen is always a winner. We got some quality ‘03 covers back. Add Ronny Donny to Georgie Porgie and Tricky Dicky. Almost felt like Fortunate Son or even the bush mask was gonna come out.

Love gimme some truth, sonic reducer, reminiscent of 03, but if you tell me all the momentum didn’t get killed after just breathe in that room, then you just weren’t there. Still an awesome show though

My 24yo daughter was with me tonight for her 4th show. We had a wishlist of songs for the night that included garden, I am mine, hail hail, not for you and WFS.  Incredible to get all of those!!  On the drive to the show I mentioned to her that it would be fun to hear sonic reducer!  Never dreamed it would actually happen. When Ed said they switch it up and he thinks we would like it I immediately screamed LEASH when I heard the first cymbal crash! I have a different take on the encore. I loved it! I’m not a huge fan of JB but Eddie sang it especially beautifully tonight.  Song of Good Hope is such a beautiful song. My daughter has gone through some tough stuff (as many of us have as we grow into young adults). I’ve sent her that song and copy/pasted those lyrics more than once.  It’s unbelievable to hear it played live by Eddie at the show that we attended together and he sang it with such raw emotion it’s clear that what he said was true (that it had helped him through tough times too).  As a mother who has watched her child struggle at times, I shed a real tear during that one.  Yes the crowd was more subdued during the beginning of the encore. But they are slower songs, what can you expect?  The songs were played with pure emotion and executed beautifully by Eddie who is seriously in TOP form.  He sounded incredible tonight. If you felt a lack of energy at that time, it sounds like a you problem to be honest. Maybe try to connect with the song and what the artist is trying to share.  The people around me really seemed to enjoy the break and appreciated that part of the show.  I certainly did!

This will go down as one of my favorite shows that I’ve seen.

Yeah I can confirm these people were repeatedly booing Eddie and yelling things like “shut up and sing” at him, I was on the floor in section C and heard multiple individuals behaving this way
