Yeah and now the attack line against Walz is "stolen valor"...that since he retired before his unit went to Iraq that it somehow equates to stolen valor...not sure how.

Walz had previously been hit with that attack and he stated that he retired to run for Congress.

Christ...Vance is criticizing Harris for using a teleprompter. Soon tRump will be on stage with a teleprompter (and likely Vance himself).

How does anyone reconcile that stupidity?
    they know their audience?

This may help. There are images of the documents on multiple posts. Seems like any attempts at swift-boating him will not succeed.

    Stolen Valor @StolenValor1
I received a partial follow up on the NGB22. After the NGB22 was issued, he was “Administratively” reduced for not completing the required educational requirements
So he did hold the rank of CSM, but was subsequently reduced for this reason and receives retired pay for the rank of MSG. There were no disciplinary reasons for the reduction.
According to the PAO for the Minnesota National Guard, they said it is legitimate for Walz to say he served as a CSM. They said the rank changed because Walz retired before completing coursework at the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy along with other requirements associated with his promotion.
As far as deployments, I am awaiting more records but it doesn’t seem he deployed to a combat zone during his service. Will follow up when I have more information.

All those people who were screaming “wHeRe’S jOe BiDeN” (when he had covid) last month are notoriously quiet at the moment… they must be away on vacation with the people who were saying old age and diminished mental capacity were a major problem for a presidential candidate.

Important for Trump to get out and campaign for those 3 EC votes in a state that has voted Republican in every election except 1 since 1968.

Sound strategy, his campaign manager deserves a raise.

I disagree. They're terrible at messaging, but great at fear mongering. The nonsensical attack ads only play to the base. I was recently in Georgia and the amount of attacks ads against Harris were ridiculous. It was at least 2 to every 1 Harris ad. In contrast, the Harris ads talked about what she would do for the country and people if elected. The Rs continue to have no plans or policies to speak to. It's ridiculous.

When the far right uses the word "radical" they are simply exhibiting ignorance.  I never pay any attention to that nonsense.  Come back with me to the 60s and 70s and I'll show you radical.  And even then, half the time it was misunderstood.

Clearly POOTWH’s memory and mental capacity is greatly reduced and he’s unfit to be POTUS. He really should withdraw from the race for the good of the repub party and nation.

He is doing the bare minimum.

pretty soon people are going to be wondering where all the campaign money went, because he isn't spending it on actually campaigning.

    sure it's fake...but hilarious

When the far right uses the word "radical" they are simply exhibiting ignorance.  I never pay any attention to that nonsense.  Come back with me to the 60s and 70s and I'll show you radical.  And even then, half the time it was misunderstood.
Radical, marxist, communist, liberal, socialist...none of those idiots know what they mean but they throw them around all the time.

I will give them one thing (and one thing only), I don't here them use the term "commie pinko" any more.

Yeah and now the attack line against Walz is "stolen valor"...that since he retired before his unit went to Iraq that it somehow equates to stolen valor...not sure how.

Walz had previously been hit with that attack and he stated that he retired to run for Congress.

Will follow up when I have more information.

good source...that guy also said that he hasn't seen Walz ever refer to being "in combat" so this is probably just the insult of the day and will go away as it doesn't gain traction
you underestimate the misinformation capabilities of the right. he will be considered an anti-military lying coward by the end of the week.
well yeah...they are also still pushing his old DUI charge as him fleeing the police at 100mph at "twice the legal limit"...

Let's see: a DUI thirty years ago, vs. 34 felony convictions, adjudicated sex offender, business fraud, tax fraud, multiple dozens of additional indictments... yeah, those are about equivalent.
R's are so far better at messaging, it will actually seem worse.
It's ridiculous.
they lie and lie and lie and double and triple down until it becomes "fact", not just to the base. that's successful messaging.
