Does this also apply if e.g. your friend or family is a neo nazi? Or a serial rapist?

And are you saying that e.g. Bernie Sanders's fight for public healthcare is not about caring about the people who would benefit by it, he just cares about the vote?

Looking for the boundries for what "family and friends über alles" entails, yes.

You getting all riled up when someone mentions that family and friends could be nazis or rapists? Weird.

Yeah sounds good but my brother in law is a magat and told me that Obama wouldn't have been elected "except for all of the niggers"... Does that change the equation?

My parents, especially my dad loves him. I live 15 minutes from them and only see them 5 or 6 times a year at this point. It’s sad they’re missing out on their granddaughters but they also voted against their rights so fuck them. I have no friends that voted for him.

I can't not talk to people because they voted for him, but it's unacceptable to me. Having a lot of trouble with it. Is anyone else?

My brother, and my best friend on Earth and everywhere else (the mother of my Goddaughters), voted for Harris.

Almost everyone else of consequence in my orbit, family and friends, voted for him.

That includes my best friend from college, who I go to Vegas with every year, who I've taken to see the band twice. He is what I would have considered a traditional Republican. His exact words:

"Out of respect for you, I chose not to discuss it over the last several months."

Insulted that he doesn't think we can/could've had a respectful, adult discussion about it, but maybe I should have seen it coming over the past year, when I'd bring up something ridiculous that MTG or Boebert said, and he'd claim to not know who they were, or something that DeSantis did (he lives in Fl), and he'd play dumb.

I deleted literally everyone from my social media. Just following bands at the moment. Maybe I'll deactivate it at some point, maybe I'll just keep it super, super limited.
May your days be long, til kingdom come.

I made a strong effort to make amends with my brother in law and brother by apologizing for my rude behavior towards their choice to vote for him! I spoke to my brothers ex wife and she’s an immigrant she and her daughter voted for him! He literally went down to Chile and married her and brought her up here to NY! Last time I saw them they all acted really rude towards my wife like just a head nod as hello! I’m done with them I’ll keep it cordial but there’s no having Xmas or thanksgiving dinner with them!
jesus greets me looks just like me ....

Very sorry to hear that.☹️ Inexcusable hateful and hurtful language and beliefs.

What's your and your family's relationship with your sister as a result of your brother-in-law's racism?

Thanks for sharing. Hopefully the family relationship can continue despite the differences and difficulties.

It's actually my sister in law that's married to him...she's also a magat.

Sounds like people are shutting family and friends out due to them being neo-nazis, racists and for being serial rapists. Good job! 👍

Are you discarding them because they vote for conservatives or liberals?

Where have you found evidence that this was done because of Donald Trump winning. I can’t find anything like that.

I’m sure google and the legacy media will censor it, but just go to X b/c it’s the news now.  No censorship there.

No censorship and TONS of propaganda.  Good lord.  So many people can't fact check, just believe anything.  Now more than ever, fact checking and critical thinking is very important.  But these masses are way dumbed down.  Future outlook not bright for the humans.  Looking good for those ultra wealthy people though.
