Very boring Setlist pretty much what they’ve been doing all year except for one or two at most per night different and it’s not even a great Greatest Hits they have a ton of other great songs they could be playing go animal leash, hail, hail, etc. love everything but tired of evenflow alive, daughter, elderly, etc. I literally get them every night I go with so many other songs just really miss those variety setlists

    What was the crowd like?

with all those hits and on a Saturday night you'd hope for some big singalongs!?
    Lots of singalongs.

Almost splurged on last minute travel for a long weekend basically because the green poster was awesome and i only buy posters to shows I was at.  Glad I held out.  If you are a die hard PJ fan who lives in Ireland and waited so long for a show at home - this has to be a tough one to swallow.

If they are having to slash ticket prices due to half empty venues - expect more of this.  They are filling it with more casual fans who could never get tickets in the past.
That’s all good and fine for the casual fans who grab cheap last minute tickets, but pretty darn shitty for the long time fans who have stuck around for 30+ years, shelled out for travel and for full price tickets (not even great seats) at Ten Club prices.
Don’t get me wrong, I’d still enjoy the singalong of a best hits night, but I’d for sure be a bit upset.

Agreed.  They have been working hard to alienate the fan club for a while now.  I don't get the strategy but it's working.

Underwhelming setlist. Hugely Underwhelming. North American leg setlists were great. This cuts the dark matter tracks by a third and doesn't have any real surprises in it. With the ticket prices this should be geared to the hardcore not casual fans. Weird start to the euro leg.

I had a ticket but sold it and am kinda glad now. That's a good sing along but not a set list I'd be too interested in, personally. Hoping for more variation and a few more deep cuts in the rest of the tour.

So... go to every show you can. That hasn't changed. But man...

Even *I* would not have wanted this set.
    This 100%

I bailed on LA at the last minute and am now regretting it even more than I already did.  I love all of DM and they cut out 2-3 songs from it and replace them with songs I have heard over and over again.  I was thinking of adding Missoula to make up for bailing on LA but now I don’t know what I am going to do.  If I fly across the county and get a setlist like this I would be terribly disappointed.

Also, Ed was saying how emotional the show made him. To be honest, it seemed like he was fake crying…

This is pretty much exactly a setlist I DONT want at a show. All greatest hits and only a few DM.
    Betterman
    Jeremy
    Daughter
    Alive
    DTE
    E Flow
    Porch
    Small Town
    Black
    Wishlist
    RITFW

All in the same set?  No thanks.

Nothing at all from No Code, Riot Act, Binaural, Avocado, Backspacer, LB or Gigaton. Bloody hell.

Was at the show.  Definitely a greatest hits set.  I am guessing since such a huge crowd and probably didnt practice.  Ed just arrived two days ago so imagine still jet lagged too.  Play the familiar.

i loved the show.  Had a great time.  Mccready was on fire.    I wouldn’t want this setlist again, but was fun.

I mean, Backspacer and LB can stay in storage ( ;)) but everything else can come out to play.
I thought for sure Ireland would get something cool like Crazy Mary at least.
We want a few deep cuts/White whales over here in Europe too!

Ah, something like Got Some or Lightning Bolt could've been cool. To mix it up at least a little. Strange set considering the really cool set lists they were playing in the US leg. Yeah, hoping for some deep cuts in London! 😁

Just saw a comment along the lines of ‘finally the band seem to have realised that people want less Dark Matter’  and I’ve never come closer to headbutting my iPad

Exactly. I know it's just one show, but it definitely made me glad I didn't pull the trigger on New Zealand.
