Today I got to give Dave Navarro a portrait I did of him. He held it up to the crowd and gave me a guitar pick. I am late uploading because I had to readjust to reality.
As we're one week out a note of warning: I will be in a field at Download festival next week, I will still be doodling but the doodles will be smaller, of lesser quality, and on a separate sheet (because I am not trying to lose 330 days work in a field in freaking Derby haha), and uploads will depend on the reliability of signal which with 80,000 of us on site is patchy at best. If I don't upload please continue to bump this thread, and know that when I'm back home the regular uploads will continue.
I currently am comically lacking in floor space due to packing so I've had to hang the canvas from my shelves. Usually I would crop the background out but I think this gives you some idea of the scale of the project now - 327 doodles is abstract but that bookcase is 6 feet+ and the canvas is about a foot shy of the bottom.
Also the skeleton is a year round feature - his name is Mike (no relation to THAT Mike, just seemed like a good name for a sparkly skelebones dude)
It cold, around midnight in a blackout tent and I've had a few because download festival life but Im nothing if not committed. Excuse the low quality for the above listed reasons xD
Todays dark tent doodle is a situation specific pun on lost dogs - as those of us volunteering at download are known as 'the dog squad' and being able to move between staff and public areas makes it incredibly easy to get lost haha - so here's a couple dogs lost on their way back to shift
Day 334 (redux), 335, and 336 - please play Release in the UK.
Apologies as the attempted 334 upload likely demonstrates the internet at download tanked once they had 80,000 on site (staff and attendees) so first chance I've had to share yesterday's doodle - I am now somewhere dry with electricity and WiFi so today's is the last low quality doodle (because I'm not actually home and am also beyond tired) so look forward to normal(ish) service resuming tomorrow

Almost lost the upload streak to a thesis deadline (drawing was done I just forgot to take a photo) - but 20,000 words can't stop me haha.

Warned you, I'm in a tent, a blackout tent at that so it's dark and time is limited, but I'm still doing it haha

And please followers of this thread continue to excuse the shit quality tent doodles done in the dark xD

Apologies for poor quality today it is cold, dark, raining and I have been in the arena all day haha.
