When will we get an announcement do you think

For Eddie? Someone hinted soon. It seems there'll be a few west coast dates in September and then Australia/NZ in November.

For Pearl Jam? Ask again in July/August 2026. It's tumbleweeds and mothballs until at least then. I think a late 2026 tour is "if things move quickly and right now, it's far, far too early to tell".

The announcement yesterday was very similar to the one at Fenway in 2018. The rest of 2025 and the first half of 2026 are gonna be very similar to 2019.
Yeah, I’m fully expecting the “Pearl Jam Tour” portion of the Tour tab of the website to be empty through the end of 2025 at a minimum, sadly

Glen is touring right up until Ohana so the Earthlings tour could not start before that.  October maybe.  If anyone knows anything about the other Earthlings’ other commitments maybe we can crack the code here.

Given EV and the Earthlings are strongly rumoured to be regrouping for the US/Aus shows later this year, I can definitely see next year being some EV European and maybe some American shows, and no PJ. Guess it could look like 2017 or 2019…..

Agree. Will be madness if all Europe got on Dark Matter was a short Iberian tour

Would it be madness? Euros complained so much about ticket prices.

Yes please. We made the trip to Florida to give our souls a bit of rest after we went to Berlin for the cancelled shows. Would be still very pleased with a European EV tour tho.

That is a good comment. Not just complained but voted with their feet and didn’t buy.  Which is a perfectly reasonable decision if people don’t want to spend their money on it, but the people running the tours for sure notice demand patterns.

My guess is that the issue about the higher ticket prices will be much much less of an issue now. There has been a massive hike in ticket prices across the board over here in the last year. Unfortunately PJ were the first major band to increase their prices for the Euro 2024 tour. Since then many other bands playing this year including Oasis, Arcade Fire, Coldplay etc have charged more than PJ! It was unfortunate timing I think, together with the late announcements when most other concerts announced in October - December time in 2023. Also been a cost of living crisis here in 2023/24 which we are slowly coming out of.

There is a cost of living crisis all of the world not just Europe. So PJ was ahead of the curve on hiking ticket prices. All that whining was for nothing then. People voted with their wallets and didn’t go to the shows. Yet yall want another tour? Americans easily paid those prices. You can’t whine and then want another tour.

The issue was charging the same for the great AND the not so great. PJ needs to shed that model, unfortunately

I think you are overly simplifying matters but I get your point.

It was a bit of a shit show all round really

But I said back then, and I'll say it again....I would happily pay double those prices to see the band. Take my money. Its the best night of the year seeing this band, by a mile too.

I get what you are saying but as Paul said, it’s a lot more complex than that. There was so much going on which impacted the ticket sales (the price hike, late announcement, competing concerts on the same days, poor choice of venue at Spurs stadium etc). It’s a completely different market and set of circumstances compared to America and you can’t really compare them.

Saying that I was happy to pay the ticket prices and had tickets for 5 shows (2 of which were cancelled) and didn’t complain at all so probably not representative of others.

Sooooo...does one begin a 2026 thread or does he wait until 2025 Ed & Earthlings dates are announced?

Why do we think pj needs 1-2 years off?  Just burnt out?

I’d be surprised if we don’t get something like ‘23 or this year in ‘26. They have to pay the bills.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

Agreed, i think we will get something for NA in ‘26. Probably just like ‘23 in May, then Canada tour in August/September 2026
