I see comments on here about Pearl Jam playing at JazzFest in New Orleans in 2025. Has that actually been confirmed? 🥑
Lineup will be announced Wednesday but the long break between Atlanta and Nashville combined with the proximity has led to some pretty serious speculation.

Anyone else now thinking the short US April/May leg may be it for this year?
I do suspect there will be more 2025 shows, but it’s really a question of where and when…

I feel like it’s unlikely they’ll do more US shows in May/June immediately after the first run of shows and that’s when they’d traditionally head to Europe. Do any of the guys have kids about to graduate? As that would be around then and it would make sense they don’t tour so they can be in attendance… it’s also not the best time for a S.America run due to Southern Hemisphere winter.  It certainly does feel like they’re taking a break in that window this year.

But from July/August onwards all we know for sure is that Ed needs to be in Dana Point in late September. Plenty of time for shows in the second half of 2025….

Yep.  In the absence of any juicy rumours then hope is all we have...

And on that basis, in 2006 and 2009 they toured Europe in August and September.   Just saying...

I will keep beating the hope drum for Summer shows in the US so that teachers can attend out of town shows without having to miss instruction time.

Do you think the band will hold off on announcing more dates similar to what NIN is doing?

Their dates started to leak and looks like NIN is playing Toronto in August. A lot of bands are booking Canada late summer. Maybe they are leaving the fall for PJ to slide in.. haha

With Mercury in retrograde starting in July there isn't much time to add more dates without committing astrological violations. Mid August through September would be a possible window but that is typically when Jeff's sciatica flares so it's unlikely they'd book anything intense like a European leg. Therefore it is likely we will see Canadian and or South American dates in the fall.

Aww poor Jeff he’s my favourite. If your predictions pan out, I think a lot of Pitt tickets will be put back on F2F. A lot of Canadians are coming down to that show.

Even tho I think you’re trying to make fun, this exact “crazy” thinking is exactly how we end up finding out damn near full tour schedules weeks before they’re announced. Sometimes months.

Unless/until there's a year where there isn't at least one Pearl Jam member playing Ohana you always have to factor that into any prognostications

  • I think if they planned more shows for this year, outside of Festivals that have announcement restrictions, they would have been announced with the Spring dates.

I have no inside knowledge, but I won't be surprised if we see a North American fall leg announced in the next few months. (if we don't hear anything by May, then I'll stick a fork in the rest of this year.)

Regardless of whether Soldier Field specifically happens or not, there are enough sparks in that thread to make me think things are cooking for the Fall

I think it might be another year where they play OHANA and a few dates around that time.

Do teachers realize that the rest of us need to take time off from work no matter when the show falls, summer or not?
