Because they joined literally a minute before their post
Nah I joined before the Dark Matter Tour was announced last year. I posted it as a bit tongue in cheek and as well as a bit of hopefulness if you will. Not like typing the sentence cost me anything but 10 seconds of my time and it certainly doesn't hurt to try. Closed mouths don't get fed lol.
I went ahead and booked a room in Nashville for the rumored dates. Mid week wouldn't be ideal, but if my wife can't get a few days off from school, I can just go solo if need be.
Also booked May 5th - 9th in Nashville just in case.

It's red flaggy if your first post is begging for GA tickets that haven't been distributed for shows that haven't been announced

What's wrong with this meme?

I don't know. Would you mind share your initial thought?
I know you are from Greece, so to me it is perfectly understandable that you might not know that the meme depicts an old stereotype of Native Americans that would be considered offensive today.

Oh that's the reason Apologies if I have offended anyone then. That was not my original intention. I chose this meme as a reply to an earlier post saying "pray harder". For some reason, posting a rain dance gif came to mind first, but I also found out it quite celebratory as well, in case the official tour announcement does happen tomorrow.

IF there another date (toronto) are we thinking the end of the tour?
I was told, on October 25, that Toronto was happening in May. Always assumed it would end the tour. Haven’t heard anything since. Could Toronto still be ending the tour? Perhaps. We’ll find out on Thursday.
O Canada!
Multiple holds in place for Montreal and Toronto. Montreal is contingent on Toronto and the dates aren’t locked in due to potential playoffs conflict (only 2 team venue on the itinerary) so I’d guess the announcement will advise dates are subject to change (potentially bumped by a day or two).
So just the "usual" venue then? Was hoping these might be different / smaller venues... happy with any show of course but always cool to have a special show in your area.. and yes I know smaller venue means smaller chance of getting tickets. sigh.
LMAOOOOOOOOO. Patiently waiting! My Ten Club auto renewed in August and I was like well truthfully I don't think they are coming back here this year, so probably a waste (for what I would use it for anyways). Let's hope it's not!
Had tickets to March 2020 show, then was rescheduled to Sept 2022 and it was the night of my friends wedding. Booked a trip to Vegas to see them May 2022 and that was cancelled. Ended up going to Hamilton in Sept 2022 the night before I flew to my friends wedding (that I was in) and saw them for the first time and then had to take a $250 Uber back to Toronto and essentially head to the airport. Worth it though!
All that to say...a date in Toronto thats walking distance to my place in May sounds really nice right now. Fingers crossed!
Anyone else think there will be more tour legs later in the year (more US? Europe? SA?) and announced in a few months, or do we think this is it?
If there's really going to be more in the fall, then they should just do what they did this year and announce the whole tour at once. It seems a little silly to make plans to attend a show you have to travel to if something closer is just going to get announced, even with the F2F option of getting your money back - or vice versa, banking on a closer show getting announced that never happens.
2003 Clarkston MI #2 | 2004 Grand Rapids MI | 2013 London ON | 2014 Detroit MI | 2016 Toronto ON #1
Here’s what I think is going on (this is just a guess- I have no insider knowledge). I think there’s going to be a Canadian tour, but the dates aren’t going to be announced tomorrow. I’m thinking we only get US dates tomorrow. Then we get the Canadian dates sometime after the new year. Could be that the original plan was to play Canada in May but then they decided to split up the US/Canadian dates and moved Canada back to late summer/early fall. I guess we’ll find out tomorrow.

It might not all be finalized at the same time though

They don’t care one bit about how much money/time you spend to go see them. No big band does. Just as long as tickets sell. The solution is simple in that conundrum, you just don’t travel to see them. But you will and so will I.

Yes...I keep trying to tell people not to expect schedule to make sense for anyone but band&crew. Your(our) needs are not factored in.
tomorrow does not feel like the day but i am hopeful it is
I agree. Especially since there has been no hints or reminders to renew. Next week I could see. A newsletter comes out Tuesday, also the 10th day of PJ, possibly reminding people to keep memberships up to date, then maybe next Thursday they drop the tour. Guess we will see, but not expecting anything tomorrow.
words seem so out of place.
