In my experience, direct flights to Montreal from the east coast have always been very expensive. Drive to Plattsburgh NY, get a hotel and it is not too bad. We do this for the Montreal Grand Prix.

Can I get a rumored dates update? Been on vacation and need a quick catch-up. Gotta start planning for the next vacation.
Go to page 69, and read forward. I shan't be the one to have you miss out on all the good reading material RE: Canadian politics, GA, export crops & materials, and abstract photography 🤗

I would have to be paid at least $1,000 to sit through a Dead & Co show at the Sphere.  It was awful in May.  Sphere was cool.  Music was dreadful.

Obviously everyone has an opinion - I was at 17 PJ shows this year and Dead at sphere was better overall experience then all of them.

The Dead need to go die, (figuratively, not to offend any flakes)
Them and Phish are two of the worst all time🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Pearl Jam people and Phish/Dead people are just different people. We finally met at My Morning Jacket shows.

Interesting take, i love Dead and PJ just about equally with Phish a little behind. Don’t like MMJ at all, and i’ve tried.

I love the dead and had a great time at the sphere. Going between PJ shows was fun. Not the biggest phish fan, but their sphere shows absolutely blew me away. One of the best shows I saw this year

  • @100 Pacer you think they’re gonna do a lottery and everything for Canada, or would they just add the dates at some point closer to the show? I could see them announcing the Toronto shows once the leafs gets bumped knowing it’ll sell out last minute if TM doesn’t hold tickets back.

I know this wasn’t directed at me but why wouldn’t they? I figure that they run a lottery per concert announcement? Southeast US will have their own lottery and then the Canadian Leg will have their own, if it’s announced separately.

Not sure what the hold up is for Toronto... everyone knows the Leafs never advance... just book the shows already.

Counter point: Pearl Jam, Phish and the Grateful Dead (and Radiohead, since I'm doing this) are my favorite bands. If you don't like them, ignore them

I own more dead stuff than pj but I grew up seeing the dead in the early 90’s and phish and ph late 90’s. All great bands.  If you like live music and art, no reason why you wouldn’t like any of them
I'm like an opening band for your mom.

Who specifically are the sources of these rumors? Have they been correct often in the past? I am kinda bummed about the Florida show. They are too big for that venue. Going to make tickets a nightmare! I haven’t seen them before and am already feeling down about it lol.

Billy Strings is the best thing going in live music right now.

Better than PJ, D&C and Phish shows in the last couple of years in my honest opinion…

I'm happy for his success and understand why people love seeing him, but bluegrass at that scale just doesn't do it for me. I enjoyed seeing him when he was in smaller rooms, but i lose interest in an arena

    Hence why someone predicted disappointment.

This Hollywood show is gonna be worse than the Apollo.

    Some thoughts on recent topics:

    1) Canada lottery - in 2020 it was a separate lottery from US although run at the same time.

    2) Dead and Co. - I don’t mind them - PJ is much better imo - but Dead and Co. at Sphere was a disappointment.  Venue did not suit them.  They need to be at an amphitheater or something, and definitely outdoors.  Instead of a repeat Dead and Co. @ sphere while out west I hit PJ at Bottlerock and have no regrets at all.

I generally won’t go to a PJ show if I have to sit in the upper bowl at this point

But if they happen, the Hollywood Hard Rock shows will be complete and total “just be lucky to get inside” territory
