I was there for one night in 2016 and both nights in 2018 and will be in the pit for both nights this year just wondering does anyone remember how freakin hot it was in 2018?
Those shows were some of the hottest concerts I've ever been to in the area. Ed was even wearing shorts which I hadn't seen him wearing at a show since Gorge 2006.

Staying at the Hilton Boston Park Plaza Sunday night, which I think is fancy. I got what the website calls a “wicked small room” no joke, and it was more affordable.

I managed to secure an AirBnB about 30min walk from Fenway. Got it for less than half the hotel room charges. Now onto tickets. Seems like a lot available on tm.
Thinking about heading to Fenway, accommodations seem to be extremely costly. I don't mind using public transit (subway preferred). Any tips on where to look? Anyone book anything recently? I'll be at the Seahawks Patriots game then said hmm why not stay a couple nights and check out PJ. (would be my 25th show)
I live in Western Ma so I drive and stay in Newton,Ma. There’s a light rail station about 5 minutes from hotel (Marriott) Riverside Station, cost $6 to park and less than $5 round trip. About 25 minutes to Fenway or Kenmore stops (both close to Park).

Very cool! I’m out in Berkshire County. Somehow got both nights but also chose to make them solo trips so that may have helped in getting both. Good luck!
Ed/PJ at Tanglewood needs to happen.
After seeing Beck w/ the Pops there a couple of weeks back, I can get down w/ this.
That Beck show was freaking awesome! I think Ed/PJ at Tanglewood would cause chaos in Lenox. That lawn would be packed haha. Shed seats absolutely suck if you’re not close due to it being so flat.

There is a PJ tribute band called King Jeremy playing at Bills Bar on Landsdowne St. (directly behind the monster at Fenway) on Sunday before the show 3:00-6:30PM. They play locally and I always go to catch them when they are around to get my PJ fix. They’re excellent. Also, the singer has Ed’s moves down pat so there is some added entertainment there.

One of the best breweries in the country! Their IPAs are great.

I did the obstructed view thing for Blink-182 and it was fine. I was a couple sections over. Being in the room where the show happens was all that mattered to me, tbh.
