Will be at night 1 in the grandstands, deleting beers (respectfully, of course). Any breweries in the area that I should hit up?
Mighty Squirrel just opened a new spot on David Ortiz Drive a few months ago too! https://www.mightysquirrel.com/

Thank you so much for the recommendations guys, we hit almost every place mentioned in the Chicago thread. It was all great.

Get ready for the best concert of your life
My dude! I can’t wait. It’s been well overdue for someone as old as I am! Anything I should know as a newbie seeing PJ, especially at Fenway? I’ve been a million times for games and a gandful
    of other shows.
New to fenway myself so can't provide much advice. I'm a bit worried about obstructed views being in the grandstands, but I'm sure it'll work out
Where are you sitting? You can look up your seats on aviewfrommyseats. When I had a Sox season tix pack the ticket office sent me there. Hasn’t served me wrong since!
I think I'm in G30. Couldn't find my exact seat view on viewfrommyseat, but found one close. Could be a support beam in the vicinity but hopefully not in direct view. If it is, oh well. Not shelling out $ on different tix
I did the obstructed view thing for Blink-182 and it was fine. I was a couple sections over. Being in the room where the show happens was all that mattered to me, tbh.
    100% agree

Had to sell my 10c tix for N1 unfortunately but am psyched to catch N2 from up in the Aura Pavilion section 7.  I’ve been lucky to see them in GA a few times but I’m looking forward to kicking back and soaking in the sights and sounds from above the field. Catching Glen Hansard in Portland Maine this Saturday night to kick things off.  Gonna be a fun couple shows ahead!  🎸

Saw N1 in 2016 from up there. It’s actually a great spot to take it all in. I loved it.

@Fixer13 I’m sitting up in the Aura Pavilion too, but section 10 for N2. Enjoy Portland. One of my fave cities in the world, and probably where I should’ve moved to at 22. Good to know @jadler that that section is a fun one. I’ve never sat up there for baseball too, so potentially a Sox game scouting opportunity as well!

Agreed on Portland. Sounds like a great weekend ahead! Pavilion equally as good for Sox games too. Ballpark is so small, it’s fun to get a different perspective of the place. In 2016 they had their own little merch section up there too which was great.

Thanks @Jadler and @greg_cameron!  Getting even more psyched for the show!  I read that the sound is relatively good from up in the pavilion sections and I’m looking forward to seeing Rob Sheridan’s visual effects part of the show from up there.  Glad the forecast is looking good.  Can’t wait!

Sat up in the RF roof deck (a little down from the aura pav) back in 2016.  It's an incredible view and the sound is perfect. You'll have a blast.

And there's nothing better than a beautiful Saturday afternoon in Portland. Walk up in down Exchange St. Check out Commercial St. Easily walkable city with plenty of food and drink options.

I'm coming in from Maine for N2 - looking to avoid the Storrow Drive exit. Any recommendations on parking that'll be just out of the fray?

Great question! As a Cambridge guy, I’d always say park on the other side of the river. There is street parking on Memorial Drive that does have a pay meter on one side of the street. There’s also this lot on Lansdowne Street in Cambridge. https://www.parkwithabm.com/55-franklin-street-garage This lot costs just $12, from 5:00 onward. It’s a nice walk past the MIT campus and over the bridge towards Fenway! A bit out of the way, but probably helps on car traffic!

I wouldn’t miss a hometown show. And I haven’t missed a Fenway show. Wish I could be as close as I was in 2016 but 10c seats aren’t what they once were. Still grateful to be inside for both nights. Let’s go Boston!

MA shows...the band always steps up their game in a huge way...especially in the setlist department.
    In last 25 years
    -2003 Mansfield Experiment...speaks for itself
-2004...2 VFC shows added after the fact and played Alone for first time in 10 years
-2006...played Leash for first time in 11 years which was HUGE at the time
-2010...crazy setlist at TD...Pilate, Force of Nature, Push Me Pull Me, Crown of Thorns
-2013 Worcester...played both Fatal and Otherside over the 2 nights
-2016 Fenway...Strangest Tribe and Angel over the two nights
-2018 Fenway....Out of My Mind....changed up (original?) Immortality lyrics

Bottomline...the band has no fear to let it loose in New England....hopefully they go crazy again this time around.

If you are good riding the subway, taking the orange line Wellington station (I think) to north station and the green line to kenmore is fairly easy. I’ve taken that route for Sox games, but it’s been a while.  I’m coming up from a work conference in Connecticut on N2 and am going to try taking the green line from riverside station.  Safe travels!

These are also great options. Orange Line ends at Oak Grove, but Wellington has the garages and is close to 93. Go with that!

Riverside should be fine on a Tuesday, @Fixer13. Haven't been to that edge of the MBTA in an incredibly long time!
