Ya i got that message i didnt bother proceeding past it at that point. Didnt want to deal with any headaches getting my money back or even floating it too them

Did not use two computers or a phone, just one with a very fast connection at work. I bought Foil first, then GID then AP. See screenshot below from confirmation email. Confirmed it hit my credit card (paid through Google Pay). I had practiced going in and out of the pages quickly with other posters before. I also refreshed exactly at 1EST.

I have been buying Ames Bros variants for years (I have a Harry Carry Wrigley print for example). you have to be extremely fast to get them all.

I was kidding about the two phones. Turns out i could have had all 3 as well that sold out message on the check out page for GID tricked me had i just proceeded with the purchase i would have gotton it. Other people got the same message in cart and their orders went thru. Lesson learned!!

I received that pop up also this morning, I just assumed I still had the Philly poster that I missed out on in my cart so I hit proceed to checkout and was able to get a rainbow foil.

Guess that killer trance those boys put me in (and still in!) had a better hold on me than my wits did last night.

I'm up in Essex and don't think I can get back down to Boston in time, especially if they're starting to run out already.

Sad state of affairs... over 10% of the rainbow foils sold this morning have wound up on eBay already (active listings plus recently sold). I don't think there is a fix for this so I am probably wasting my time complaining, but it sure would be nice if 10c members got first dibs at these numbered poster drops.

Show editions are so plentiful nowadays that I couldn't care less what people do with variants. If you just want a souvenir it's easy to get that at a reasonable price. If you want to swim in the deeper end of the pool, good luck to ya.

True enough, I am less bothered by people that sell them a few months/years down the road than those that sell them minutes later though.

I know there is no reasonable solution, and I am making this complaint after actually getting in on one of the drops finally, but I'd be much less annoyed if people that actually wanted them and were supporters of the band had some sort of leg up on the hardcore flippers.

Meh. I've bought plenty of APs over the years to actually have them. I (usually) don't buy them if I already have some other version, and if I were to sell any, I will ask for something reasonable. If I ever sell any of our Pearl Jam/Eddie stuff, my first stop would be here, and probably for face value. Not everyone who compulsively buys posters is a flipper.
