When you purchase a poster from an artist, do they send the poster sealed in a plastic sleeve or is it just put in the tube (as if you bought one at a show)? Are posters often damaged in shipping?

It's best sometimes to message the artist before the AP sale & ask how they are gonna ship the poster. Many new poster artists on the Pearl Jam roster don't know how to properly ship out a poster. It's true. Many use flimsy thin tubes that can easily be punctured. Some don't use kraft paper at all. While some who do, don't use enough kraft paper. If the print is 18x24 I've seen a few who only use a 2 or 3 inches more to wrap poster. It sucks as when shipped, the poster inside will move and slip away from not enough kraft paper being wrapped properly. Way too many stories of scratched / dented / creased Pearl Jam AP edition posters.
10club, IMO, is the best in the businesses. Their tubes might be smaller but strong & durable. And they properly package their prints. If you want a mint quality print, buy from pearljam.com .

My worst experience was ordering a Coheed and Cambria poster from their webstore. Arrived creased, dented, and with an inventory sticker on the back. Total pros.

Between this and the tease of the Boston/Wrigley jacket(?) with dates....is it a hint that this is the last go round in these venues for the foreseeable future? Would be a little weird to have this stuff seem outdated with new dates in a couple years.

Maybe they will sell additional numbers you can glue on for future dates.
