Maybe the most catchy and power-poppy song on Dark Matter, yet for some reason it took the longest for me to „get“ it. It suddenly hit a nerve after the twentieth or so listen and is now shaping up to be my favorite on the record

Same. I think it takes time to appreciate because it has so many layers to it. The song structure on Got to Give, Won't Tell, Upper Hand and Setting Sun are first rate. These songs all tell a story and have dramatic endings. Bravo!

This is what makes Dark Matter the album so great. There are layers to multiple aspects of the music. The sounds, lyrics, themes. It's what makes this Pearl Jam album stand out from the rest I think, in that it's very cohesive.
That said, out of all the tracks, I think Got To Give stands out to me with it's layered sounds. Those on the fence with this track, I think you should give it a listen with High Def audio on headphones. The track morphs in to something amazing, as the second half is really special.

The bass is awesome. It's a feel good summer song.

Love this song and one of my faves from the new album. Got me wondering, what was it like back in the day when Yield came out and those that saw them on the '98 tour - did you feel the same with Low Light? I love that it got its revival in recent years and wonder if people were wishing for that the same way?
