Having to listen to so called PJ “fans” on facesook complain about ticket prices, over and over again. I'm just fucking over it.
Yet they seem happy to pay 1300 for a Taylor swift ticket….. and seem to never have heard of inflation and the cost of taking not just the band but all the people and shit that goes with it on a world tour…

Not loving the fact that based on the 1st two shows of this tour that 1/3 of each live show will now be preprogrammed with new songs from DM. Possibly partly because of the new video screen. I think the new lp is their best work in years but its not the holy grail. 9 songs per show seems a bit much especially when playing 2 shows in a city. Please go back to more diversified setlists as the tour goes on.

I'm here to complain about dumb instagram commenters whining that they didn't play Even Flow in Vancouver 1.
I will reserve my complaint about not playing Waiting for Stevie - as long as they play it in Vegas...

Really double whammy on this tour because of playing more of the new album plus the shorter sets.
Gigaton tour was weird with all of the cancellations/fill ins plus had so many shows cancelled, so I didn’t look at that.
On the LB tour, on the multi night runs there was an average of 4.5 repeated songs across the run. And new album made up 21% of the setlist on those runs on any given night.
On Backspacer tour, on the multi night runs there was an average of 4.3 repeated songs across the run. And new album made up 20% of the setlist on this runs on any given night.
In Vancouver there were 7 repeats, more than any 2 night run on either of the previous multi night runs of album tours. The new album made up 35% of the setlist in Vancouver, by far the highest of any multi night run on album tours…previous high was 28% on the Backspacer Seattle run.
I’m excited to hear the new songs so I’m not really upset about it. And after all it is their band and they can play what they want. But I think it’s totally fair to be disappointed if you just shelled out $800 minimum for 2 tickets in back to back nights and expected the variety PJ is accustomed to delivering.

Based on the last 15-20 years/6-7 albums, once this run is over most if not all of the DM songs will be pretty rare if not straight up gone. Enjoy them while you can.
I have a complaint about these stupid flat billed snap back hats for kids..... I'm 48 what kind of dick would I look wondering around like a 14 year old . 10c stop selling rubbish hats. Just the normal cap is fine for people our age. Thank you... Rob
I sure won't wear "dad" sneakers but I'm all in on the "dad" caps.

Agree 1000%. I really really enjoy the new album but the best thing about PJ is the obvious diverse catalogue. When they played 33 songs, playing 8 off new album isn't big deal. 24 songs. 1/3rd of show a bit different. They can obviously do whatever the fuck they want but do I really want to travel to Boston and NY to hear Dark Matter 4 times? Something I am going to really have to think about.

Setting Sun won't stay as one of the closing songs? Maybe rotate with Indifference, YLB and the various covers? I don't remember them using any other new songs as closers for a long time.

Not sure if this is a complaint but React/Respond is not a “both nights song” - at least it shouldn’t be.
well, it indeed got you to both react and respond, so it seems to be working.
Nailed it!

I'm complaining in advance about Brian Romero getting the Vegas poster on this tour. His art is hideous but at least I'm saving $40 - $50.
I'm willing everything in my existence to have him not be one of the artists but I fear it is fleeting. That Vegas 2022 cancelled show poster is hideous. I don't mind the Indy one as much.

Setlist crossouts are the worst. They rarely, if ever, work out better for fans. They usually result in one less song and are cut for time or otherwise, or are replaced with a more obvious song that you have likely heard many times before.

You never really had to begin with.
Sometimes it's not the song that makes you emotional it's the people and things that come to your mind when you hear it.
