Yeah, usually the first thing I do is put the CD on in my car and go drive somewhere with it blasting out of the car stereo. Now I have my home stereo set up for SurroundSound, so I was planning on playing the CD there for the first listen. I'm going to have to buy a second copy at the record store on Friday, but it won't be before I have listened on YouTube Thursday night.

Very fair, but the pattern is there. Possibly had a similar issue with LB, but don't recall. I've pre-ordered countless things from other artists and it is always the same trick of shipping on release day. Never any rush to get the product out on time because someone might get it a day early.

yeah idk why they would care, especially when its so easy to listen before release day at events sanctioned by the band

Pretty sure most people got LB early but it was defective.

I have a tracking number but no delivery date.  Every 10C CD has come early except Gigaton which was about 3 days after the release date.

You're most likely correct but let us hold out hope. 

I have received items before that never received shipping notification.  I got an email saying the printing label was printed, and then it arrived a few weeks later. The UPS tracker was never updated or gave a delivery date.  Hopefully that is the case here.

I asked the Ten Club about my order not showing up in my order history. They said that my order was apparently submitted as a guest and thus was not synced to my order history. My computer generally remembers me and keeps me logged in whenever I go to the Ten Club site, but it must not have done that when I ordered for some reason (nor was I prompted to log back in).

The Ten Club further said that I will receive a shipping notification when it ships, and that it will ship on or before April 19. So I'm definitely not getting this by Friday.

i made a subtle joke during preorder in another thread how this was SUPPOSE to reach us on or before 19th with ANOTHER version available nextvday

hmmmm my mind said, what incentive besides doing the right thing was there ever to get these by Friday

im holding firm, Apple Music will suffice

Disorganization and/or incompetence, as well as factors out of their control (i.e., when the items were received from the manufacturer, or logistical issues with the shipping company) are always much more likely explanations than conspiracy. 

Their incentive, besides good customer service, is to get the items shipped so that they're not tripping over inventory that could be out the door.

That would make sense for when they're initially picked up, but after it gets to the hub and the packages spread throughout the country, you should have some scans/movement in tracking.

Fingers crossed for a delivery on Thursday, since we are headed out of town and have a hold mail set up. Otherwise, it will be Apple Music at midnight.

I know 10C well enough by now to have never expected to actually receive this record on or before April 19th, lol. I knew when it was announced that I'd be hearing it for the first time on Spotify.

Just checked my tracking number and it is now updated to arrive on April 22nd. Kind of a bummer that I won’t have the physical copy to listen to over the weekend but there’s always streaming I guess.

I'll borrow a copy off the internet until the cd/vinyl shows up in the mail.   Also possible that I can resist the RSD variant if I go to RSD on Saturday.

I got the updated email at about 4am EST this morning, but its only for the CD shipping, not the vinyl, with 'delivery date to be provided as soon as possible.'

"If there are items from this order that are not included on the above list, that means they will ship separately. You will receive a separate notification when those items ship."

Expected it after Gigaton and Earthling, but am still disappointed. Though, who knows, hopefully the CD and maybe the vinyl will get here on time, too.

that's the date it will reach the post office. Sadly, with mail innovations, you have to add at least an additional day
