The question now is how upset are people going to be when their preorders on these get cancelled because some of these places aren’t able to fill order… Look like there are only 1,500 of each variant.

California is 2500 according a previous post and source was a record store.  Looks like it’s different.

Does the color effect the sound in any way?

It does. Worst you can do is the tricolor nonsense.

I always go for unicolor or black vinyl for sonic reasons.

Good question - in a word no but...it's been said and in general terms the black / standard pressings have least imperfections...or so Ive been told.

According to Jack White, black vinyl sounds best, and others have poorer sound quality like glow in the dark.  He talks about it at about 38:40 of the below video.

Generally no. Color itself won’t affect the sound. It has more to do with where it’s pressed. Split, tri and quad can lead to problems, swirl and splatter are generally fine.

glow in the dark is a different type of pvc. So that will sound worse.

I thought Boston & Chicago had different pressings? Are the record stores being given the wrong stock photos as Valshalla is showing the red/blue which I thought was the Boston variant.
    Upcoming:
    Auckland 8&10
    Sydney 21&23
