AMC's site says they will play Dark Matter twice. They will play it once in the dark and once with visualizers on April 16 only.
With a special, one night only global theatrical experience Pearl Jam fans will be among the very first to hear the band's new record Dark Matter on April 16 in select cinemas around the world with "Dark Matter in The Dark." Presented with the best cinematic technology, in Atmos where available, fans at the global cinema event will hear Dark Matter in its entirety twice, before it's available anywhere! First in a dark cinema with just the music playing and then a second time experiencing the record with added visuals on screen during playback. A musical experience set to be unlike any other record premiere event.

So based on the time & hearing it twice, the album runtime is 40 minutes?

I've seen the run time listed as 1:30 AND  1:20. Not sure which is accurate.

Whether this happens or not tickets should be on sale by now. I think the Gigaton at the theater was available like a month or 2 before it was released

My wife teaches a GED class on Tuesday nights, so if it is playing close to us I will be going solo.

Whew! Just got tickets for Jeff Tweedy April 11-12-14-15 and am glad that this will not conflict.

My excitement to see this in the theater is directly proportional to whether I already have a copy of the album in my hands by April 16. If I don't, then I will beat down the doors for this. If I do and have already heard it a bunch of times, it won't kill me to miss this.

They were scheduled to do Gigaton pre pandemic. Hopefully they get on board this time around too!

Reminds me of getting to listen to No Code before release at a laser light show at OMSI in Portland.  Loved it.
