I can't help but feel TM dropped the ball with Vancouver tickets. Held all those tickets back for platinum. Most of them are mid level tickets, not the best, not the worst (back of the lower bowl, which is at least not back of the upper bowl). Then they dumped them all at the same time, which showed their hand. They aren't really moving, so they're going to have to start lowering prices, but because the excitement around the onsale is over, that could be hard to move all those tickets (especially for night 2).
I really hope they open fan2fan before they start slashing the platinum prices.

They’ll start reducing Platinum prices 7-10 days out. Previously if you didn’t sell less than stellar tickets prior to the reduction they wouldn’t sell at all. So it stands to reason F2F will open…soon.

As someone who buys a bunch of tickets to a variety of events, you have two different things:
1) OMG! The show could sell out multiple times (Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, U2, etc.) Ticketmaster's platinum pricing and all that stuff works wonders because people are sweating, constantly checking.
2) For shows where a sell out is not a sure thing (see Pearl Jam in LA), this model is just stupid. Everyone knows there will be tickets on TIcketmaster, Stubhub, Seatgeek the day before the show. Why commit to anything when the markets are this liquid and there is close to 0% chance of missing out? Why would I want the stress of having to dump upper level tickets if I can't go? I was offered SIX GA tickets for free to Eddie and the Earthlings in Vegas.
Europe seems to available now, it’s not the same as fan2fan in that you can list for any price you like (up to face value you paid).
thats good news. hopefully that carries over to the states

They have implemented the standard Ticketmaster resale process, this isn't like any dedicated F2F thing which you guys have had in the US I don't think.
The secret to a happy ending is knowing when to roll the credits
