I was able to cart (but didn’t hit submit)- I was just curious whether I would be able to cart it. Hopefully someone here got it.
I posted right around 816am PST. I'm sure someone got it by now, but it will shows as "pending offer' in my TM account and I haven't seen any e-mail notification that it sold.
@UmphreysJam34 - was this ever resolved? I listed a pair for Chicago 2 a few mins ago and now I see "2 Pending Offer" as the "Listing Status", but it does not appear the tickets are available anymore. Odd!
So about 4 hours after I listed them and they presumably sold, I started a live chat with TM. I got an automated response they were looking into it and would get back to me. Sure enough, 5 mins later I got an e-mail stating the listing sold. It still says my payout is on hold which I’m worried about, but it moved from “pending offer” which sounds like what you’re seeing to sold. Sounds like the same issue.
I had some tickets that sold immediately upon listing a few weeks ago, but experienced issues similar to yours afterwards. It took them a few days to get it sorted out, but they did eventually get back to me and said they were gonna send me the money. However, for some reason, they couldn't pay it out like a normal sale. They said they'd have to issue it as a refund. But they let me choose any card I wanted to issue the refund to. Which was good for me, as I didn't lose the 5% cash back I had earned on the original purchase, since I had them refund to a different card.
Anyone get a "Payout on Hold" notice in their TM account after selling tickets on F2F? I have added multiple accounts and Credit Cards, but still see this. Of course I am getting no response from TM help.
I had that on tickets I sold a month or so ago. Contacted them and they said they showed the payout was sent and I received it a day or so later. Have the same thing on my account now for some Wrigley tickets I sold and I'm assuming they'll be fine as well. Bank is verified and card on file is valid so they much have some sort of glitch going on. Shocker for TM

Honestly not surprised. Selling out two United Center shows less than a year ago, and then playing Wrigley twice a year later seemed crazy to me. Would have been more fun if they played Michigan and Ohio instead.

The market for Wrigley1 is collapsing. Could be a lot of empty seats.
Edit: looks like the same thing is starting for night 2.
their manager TM made a huge mistake holding back premiums especially in NY and other east shows. Those coveted msg wing seats not available to ten c this tour were selling for $900+ during verified fan onsale. Now they are getting maybe $550 for them. We could see higher future fv prices, someone is taking a $$ hit this tour.
TM/PJ probably held back a large inventory of premium tickets due to the euro “desaster” hoping to convince east coasters to hop on a plane to Europe. Not a well designed tour nor ticketing system.
Interesting to see how their strategy for tickets/prices will be for South America.

Yes! It has been 10 years since there was a proper Michigan date and would have made my life a lot easier 😉

Thanks! Glad to hear everything went through for you. I just received the following response from TM last night, so it looks like things are moving along, even though it still says "Payout on hold". Hopefully no one else continues to have issues.
"I understand that you have concerns regarding your payout as it shows "Payout on Hold". My apologies for the delay in receiving a response to your query. This was due to the high volume of interaction we are receiving.
Upon checking, I see that you've already updated your card on August 12, 2024, and the payment process started after that. I apologize for the confusion that it has caused regarding this. You should receive your payout within 5-7 business days starting from that date."
Recent Vedder Interview below. At $150 a ticket the shows are grossing about $2.5 million and most are way more than that at 16,000 seats. It's kinda funny that they can't make enough money to cover costs at that. Its an outright joke. Adding premiums at $500 average for 2000 seats adds another $700k net to the gross. And then they are holding back seats and fan club folks are in the uppers? not right at all.
I will give them credit that pre-covid, they did keep ticket prices down and I can see at the restart of touring in 2021/2022 yes, there was gauging probably but NOW? I can't believe these guys are that busy they can still overcharge for trucks and crews....but again, we really don't know but if this band can't make it selling out every gig basically in a heartbeat at these prices, then what the hell are the other folks doing?
to compare. Greta Van Fleets tickets are mostly $100 or less and they are playing arenas and have a bigger show than PJ does and I can assure you they are not doing it AT A LOSS. Its all a choice. They do much less premiums at lower prices as well.
The part I'm more burned about is those lowers in Philly that didn't go to fan clubs while alot of us got uppers at that gig for the first time ever. I know demand is high but they should NOT be holding these back. Same with Wrigley.
oh well, move along...nothing is going to change. I think PART or MOST of the issue is, they are NOT doing the same amount of dates so they have to charge more to make up for that. Look at the tours in 2013 and 2016, lots more dates. This is what you get with an aging band. Get used to it i guess.....

We know the industry took a nearly two year beating from Covid, and in the time since, faced cancellations which also cost lots of $.
Greta VF plays roughly triple the amount of shows that PJ plays. Their techs and support likely do not command the compensation required by PJs crew. Greta mixes in many smaller venues, which probably keeps their touring overhead costs lower. A fair comparison would be to PJs peers, such as Metallica. Major concerts like this cost $200. The one issue, is PJ doesn’t offer much of a lower price for upper level seats which is unfair. Their legacy ticketing system likely makes that difficult
They told us numerous times they need sell premium tickets to keep down “face value.” Are they lying to us? My preference would be to have a fairer version of face value. The best seats should cost the most, but they are likely trapped by a pricing and seating model they developed when they were very young. So without premium seats, those legacy seniority tickets will probably have a much higher face than $200.
I’m sure they will turn F2F back on in a day or two. They are just playing their games. This happened with Indy last year when I was trying to sell tickets.
It’s not fatal in the case of Wrigley because you can still transfer. Bigger issue for other shows.
