    When I was new I was more interested in Jeremy and that gets a lot less play than Alive.  I don’t need to hear Alive this year.

    I feel the same way. They can play it anywhere in the set and they can keep playing it at every show. 

    It unites the crowd every time and I'm blessed to part of it each time.

     I still love Alive. As I get older that song really hits me. It's a re-affirmation song for me at this point.  

    Although moving it around the set would be also be great.  Love to hear it early.  And I've said this before but I always thought Even Flow would get a bigger boost if played at the very end like Alive is.  Right now Even Flow in the same spot is really kind of tired to me.

    It is their signature song. Anthemic, Stone riff, Mike solo, Ed's soaring vocals, catchy chorus. 

    As long as Mike stays focused and they stick the ending it's my favorite song of theirs in a live setting.

    Think that is definitely one of the options for a double header. 

    One night has 
    Rockin in the free World followed by Yellow Ledbetter, while the other night will close with Baba O'Reilly or Alive. 
    I have a feeling that this year we won't see Indifference very often, for example.

    Fine with Alive in the Encore - just not Indifference as the closer (love the song and have been to some amazing shows where indifference was the closing song but...)

    Parting Ways should be in the closer rotation!

    As far as Alive, I'm good with it every show but I wouldn't be disappointed if it wasn't played.

    I'm just fine with Alive every single show.  Also playing Dark Matter from start to finish every show as well!  Bring on the new tunes.

    It's time to move it to a set 1 closer or something.  I don't want to know its the 2nd or 3rd to last song in 2024.  

    Fortunate to have been to one show without Alive.  Wouldn't be mad if it happened again.

    When it opened the show in Dallas in 2003 it was incredible. It's only ever opened a show 3 times.

    That was a bit of a surprise. I remember reading somewhere at the time Stone created the setlist for that show, five horizons or two feet thick possibly. Definitely engaged the crowd immediately.

    Alive is a great closer, but not at every show.
    I want them to keep mixing it up a little.

    I don't go to a lot of shows, the next one (whenever that will be) will be show 11. So I don't mind hearing Alive at any show.  What I'd really love, just bc I think it'd be cool - is if they opened with YL.  Would love to hear the crowd reaction when that first note gets strummed to start the show.
