I thought the new record would of been 2 LP's which it isn't. It's a 1 LP record.

Why is the price of a single LP record so high?

    1LP Vinyl. $56.99 CDN?

It says there is a no quantity limit on the Tenclub red/black variant but when I try to pick up more than 1, it doesn't let me. Anyone else having this problem? Trying to order a couple for friends here in the UK to save on postage.

The description in the 10C shop said it came with a 24 page booklet and sticker set that comes with it. I figure that is why it costs more than a typical 1 disc release.

You can order as many as you want, but they have to be separate orders.

I wonder if the retail copies will have this stuff too?

@sea any idea if the stickers/booklet and stuff are a 10C exclusive thing? or will that stuff be in the RSD release and retail too?

Good point, and it will make a difference on which version I buy. If my local shop version has all that, I am buying it there. If it is only on the 10C sold ones, then I might have to go with that one. Hopefully you get a response.

Really hoping these ship out before the release date so I can have it in my hands on the 19th. I was planning on just going to my local shop to pick it up the day of, but couldn't resist that sweet red/black Ten Club version.

Also, anyone listened to the single on multiple formats? My first go through was dumb. I listened on cheap bluetooth earbuds and was underwhelmed, especially after how excited I was by the 30 second clip. I immediately switched to some big higher end plug in headphones and what a difference they made. The low end on the song is insane. I've listened on a different blue tooth speaker and in the car and with each device, I'm discovering different things in the mix. It's pretty cool.

Since there is zero diversity of opinion I will give it. I don't like it. It's like everyone is trying too hard to convince themselves otherwise.

I have two GA tix and parking for Indy. That would have been my 20th show. My fan club # is under 70,000. 1995. I'm getting a refund. The best albums are ten through yield.

Only US$24 for the CD+Blu-ray at Walmart US, awesome price - hope they move enough units at prices like this to ensure future CD+Blu-ray releases of the catalogue.

Tracklist says SACRED OF FEAR...i like that better  =)
  • It's too bad the band that used to talk about wanting it to be affordable to see them live and buy their music is now charging $45+ for vinyl and it appears it doesn't even come with a digital download.  Maybe instead of getting the cool vinyl on preorder NOW like I want, I'll just hope amazon offers a vinyl option with digital download.  I mean, if both buying options have the same amount of soul, might as well go with the option that gives me a digital download, unlike Gigaton, which now I have to pay another $10 to have with me when I travel. Love the band, love the new song, can't wait to see them again, but lame.

If you're buying vinyl at all, you're overpaying. If you want a physical copy and a digital copy for a lower price, buy the CD.

I gather speed from you fucking with me.

    Question!

Is the red vinyl only available in the U.S.?  When I click the store for Europe I don't see it there.

    TIA

The "European store" is not the same as the Tenclub store. It is an external partner that gets de facto nothing from Tenclub to sell. Including this. You will not be the first one to ask yourself "But, why?".

It is only the tenclub store on this site (as in the US store) that sells it

McCready kills it in the new tune! Can't wait to hear the rest!
This song really does give me some "old school" PJ vibes here.

Because I cancelled my registration for tickets I told myself I’d kinda make up for it by stumping up for the red vinyl. Pretty poor that it’s not available anywhere else, so shipping is a bitch. I also held off to see what the RSD vinyl was like and it’s an awful diarrhoea looking disc! So red it was 😂

Uh...so I was checking my USPS tracking thing email I get everyday for incoming mail...and noticed that I am receiving a package from 10C today...went to my order history on my account and noticed that my Dark Matter order was marked shipped...but I did order the LP and the 7" single...so safe to assume that it's the 7" single that's being shipped out now?

  • BF25394BF25394 Posts: 4,538
Probably. Some people have reported already receiving the 7-inch.
