I have one my colleague seems to have hiked in Peru with, because there is a Peru patch on it.

I am (only) bringing two books. Is that enough for the traintrip and hiking.

Nice pictures - What is your feedback from it? Worth the time, energy and effort to plan and go through with it? Excited to go on another?

Very much worth it. One of the best things I’ve done. Mainly visiting the very north of the country and the hiking in that magic landscape. Going up the peak was 12 hours of grey rocks, stone and gravel and fog. Hehe. Challenging and hours upon hours of rocks.

Would love to do a longer hike next year. Not as sure I need another peak to climb. But my gf wants us to go up Norways highest peak next. Hehe.

One of the drawbacks to having vestibular migraine and orthostatic hypotension is no longer being able to tolerate even moderate elevation. 5,000 to 6,000 feet is my max.  That's why I'm giving serious thought to taking up sidewalk climbing.  It looks a bit technical, but I think I can handle it.

As you can see, there are some real hazards there. Imagine the fall that climber would take if that baby carriage had cut his rope?  Hard to think about!
