Never seen or played Last of Us so I don't really get the reference.
It's an enemy in the game. Like a koopa-troopa is in Super Mario Bros.

    Here is the original artwork

Weird cutting off so much of the bottom, with that straight cut - instead of having the artist paint a fade out. Ot have something painted for the shirt, instead of just slapping on existing artwork.

Am I the only one who zoomed in on the mushrooms to see if the band members' faces were in there or something

Your theory makes a lot of sense but of course who the hell knows. It's such an odd approach on the design but then again the Halloween shirts aren't really my thing anyway.

Should've been Ellie & Joel on an abandoned stage with the lights turned back on. Word balloon with El singing 'don't call me Daughter!' with a sarcastic look on her face, with Joel strumming/eye rolling.

    Instant classic.

Could have been Ellie with a tattered old Stickman shirt

    or

The band busking in a post apocalyptic overgrown city

    or

Stone having turned into a clicker

    or

Like… anything that actually in some small way uses both ”licenses” and adds something other than ”randomness” to people (who are not TLOU fans)

Without question the worst Pearl Jam t-shirt design of all time. It's not even close.
    “Do not postpone happiness”
    (Jeff Tweedy, Sydney 2007)

“Put yer good money on the sunrise”
    (Tim Rogers)

  • Maybe I'm missing something.

Isn't Halloween supposed to be about, scary, gory, evil, etc. Doesn't this shirt kind of follow what Halloween is all about? Yet 90% of you hate it? Oh well, I guess it's all personal preference.
    Take me piece by piece.....

90% of people hate 90% of 90% of things
I'm like an opening band for your mom.

One lane of critique is that it's just an old band logo slapped on top of a stock image

I hope in future years the band considers using Travis Price for the Halloween tees. His sticker/tee designs for the recent tours have been great and his style would really suit the halloween tee
