It honestly looks like a bad copy and paste job t-shirt.
Every shirt in the shop is a copy and paste job on the same two models 🤷🏻‍♂️

You don’t have to like everything the band does but please don't be rude.  It's all in the Posting Guidelines.
    Thank you

If it falls under "being rude" commenting on a commercial product with a pricetag of $35, then doesn't that remove any type of resonable framework of what can fall under "being rude" on here and then how would reading the Guidelines help us? Wouldn't it then be like walking around in an Elm Street dreamworld without any tangible rules?

Maybe my thinking is wrong here. But it is a commercial t-shirt. How would anyone even be able to consider it being rude criticising it. Would you on another message board?

Why was this delayed and not shown in the newsletter revealing it? Did the real design end up not working and they had to slap this together last minute internally?

This unfortunately did not help me understand at all.

    Ugly shirt, though.

Never seen or played Last of Us so I don't really get the reference. Not the best looking Halloween shirt IMO (actually I'd probably put this one dead last)

Truly awful. Lazy and ridiculous stuff there.

It's an enemy in the game. Like a koopa-troopa is in Super Mario Bros.

    Here is the original artwork

Weird cutting off so much of the bottom, with that straight cut - instead of having the artist paint a fade out. Ot have something painted for the shirt, instead of just slapping on existing artwork.

Am I the only one who zoomed in on the mushrooms to see if the band members' faces were in there or something

Your theory makes a lot of sense but of course who the hell knows. It's such an odd approach on the design but then again the Halloween shirts aren't really my thing anyway.

Should've been Ellie & Joel on an abandoned stage with the lights turned back on. Word balloon with El singing 'don't call me Daughter!' with a sarcastic look on her face, with Joel strumming/eye rolling.

    Instant classic.

Could have been Ellie with a tattered old Stickman shirt

    or

The band busking in a post apocalyptic overgrown city

    or

Stone having turned into a clicker

    or

Like… anything that actually in some small way uses both ”licenses” and adds something other than ”randomness” to people (who are not TLOU fans)

Without question the worst Pearl Jam t-shirt design of all time. It's not even close.
