Jeremy Shockey was at one of the shows , If I remember correctly.

Yup, I remember it was at the Nassau Colliseum show...some people saw him and started booing...

At the time I didn't know who he was until I asked my friend.

You're correct. Pat Rafter is/was a huge fan! He was defending his title at the U.S. Open and was asked by the press if he was concerned about the pressure. He said something like..."not really, if I happen to lose early it'll be fine because then I'll get to join Pearl Jam on their tour." Btw, he went on to win the tournament. Also, I remember seeing Stone in the locker room and in the stands with Ben Harper.

I was fortunate enough to get invited to Rafter's after-party. It was awesome! The restaurant/bar blasted Pearl Jam for most of the night. There were quite a few Aussies at the party and needless to say they were going nuts to the music .

Yes we Aussies have good taste in music.

Ben Tune who played for the wallabies said that he used to listen to pearl jam before a game. And Cooper Cronk who plays for Melbourne storm said he likes Pj. I giess that is why people say they want to "bonk the cronk"

Former Milwaukee Brewer backup catcher Damian Miller. Quoted last yr that he is a fan of PJ. And when he would come up to bat they would play WWS over the P.A. system at Miller Park. :)
  • not sure if anyone has said it but Sean Casey - backup first baseman for the Red Sox who was with Detroit last year and with Cincinatti in past seasons comes up to the plate with Even Flow playing. I think that makes him a fan haha

Bentley Little, horror novelist. In one of his books (The Burning) He writes..." When I saw that I felt like I was in the presence of greatness, the way I felt the first time I saw Pearl Jam live." Not a direct quote but close enough for government work.

Zack Whatshisname from Scrubs. Big music fan. Episode of Scrubs with Long Road.

Theo Epstein, Boston Red Sox GM. He has said so in numerous Globe stories.
He also wore a 10 Club hat in the Sox 2004 WS show done by ESPN.

He said that he respects Eddie for lying low and avoiding the spot light that so many rock stars chase.

I know many people have said Pete Sampras, he also made a Nike commercial with Andre and Pete stated he was a huge PJ fan.
