Kirk Maltby of the Detroit Redwings had said a couple of times that Pearl Jam was his favorite band. I know Ed an Chris Chelios are friends back from when they both lived in San Diego. I also so Chris at the Detroit show in 06 Ed sang comeback and dedicated it to Chris.Yellow Ledbetter is my least favorite song. Because as soon as you hear the first note you know it is time to say goodbye.0

You're correct. Pat Rafter is/was a huge fan! He was defending his title at the U.S. Open and was asked by the press if he was concerned about the pressure. He said something like..."not really, if I happen to lose early it'll be fine because then I'll get to join Pearl Jam on their tour." Btw, he went on to win the tournament. Also, I remember seeing Stone in the locker room and in the stands with Ben Harper.
I was fortunate enough to get invited to Rafter's after-party. It was awesome! The restaurant/bar blasted Pearl Jam for most of the night. There were quite a few Aussies at the party and needless to say they were going nuts to the music .0 -
I haven't trawled thru the whole thread, so sorry if he's been mentioned before: Daniel Chick, very spunky Aussie Rules football player from the mighty West Coast Eagles. MMMmmmm Chicky Babe...reaching in..... the suns fingers clutch the dawn to pass

Playlist: "I like 'Go and Alive' by Pearl Jam. Go back to the old school."
