Holy fuck.  What a setlist.  What a crowd.  What a night

Another awesome night. Thought they might play all of Ten. Green Disease is amazing live and should be played more. Smile to the back was an unexpected treat. MITS reminded me of 2006 United Center show (which also had Garden). End of my 3 show run so Ledbetter was depressing as I often find it since it means the end of PJ shows. I liked Tuesday night better but that’s just personal preference. This was my 54th show and I’ve now seen Evenflow 51 times.

Incredible show, I'm spent! Maybe the best encore by the guys in years🤔 and the main-set was already ridiculous, for sure the best show I've seen since No Code in Moline🍷blows away all the Wrigley shows for me and they we're all great but, this was just better🎸

Fantastic show! Both of these Chicago shows were a blast. We were in 233 Tuesday and the people were a little more reserved. We were in 232 tonight and they seemed to be more in to it. On to Indy!

Around show 60 for me and that might be the best crowd I’ve ever experienced.  You could tell Eddie was having a blast.

Great show. Great set. Chelios stuff was a damper and unnecessary delay. Threw off the whole encore and some of the energy was sapped.

Looks like first night of PJ20, Dallas 2013 and Baltimore 2013 are the no Evenflow shows I've seen.  I recall a show at the UC in 2006 (first night?) where a fan in the front row had worn a shirt or had a sign that said Don't Play Evenflow and Eddie called him out.  Made me think it was one of many reasons they quit having reserved seating by seniority and moved to the GA.

Great show! So much to love with the setlist and a few turds. While we’ve all heard them a million times, the first two songs got the crowd right into it because everyone can sing along. I thought Come Back was great and I always love Present Tense. Deep, Tremor Christ and Green Disease were awesome to hear. And a few negatives, I thought a couple songs were tuned down possibly and sounded flat. I love Whoever Said but maybe it was tuned down?? And then to me when they went into Smile it just went splat. From a sound standpoint it was just a turd. 😂

Other than that, the Chelios thing should have been done somewhere else. Since Ed is friends with him we have to have him on stage or shouted out every time. I would say most people are there to see a concert and don’t necessarily care about the sports references. This is coming from someone that had Michael Jordan and Bulls posters and newspaper clippings on his ceiling.

Show #24 for me…great to catch Tremor Christ, Green Disease, Marker In the Sand, and Street Fighting Man.  I started pulling for a full Ten album.  So close.  Ready to head to Indy for the next one.  Dare I say, hoping for more Gigaton?!?  I am.  Loved the whole experience today…great vibes all around.  Met really cool people all day long!  Keep on rockin’!

Chelli was at the back of GA most of the night.  He left a few songs before encore, so we all knew he was going on stage, but not for that.  Yeah it killed the flow, but he meant a ton to Hawks fans, and I thought it was amazing to share that moment with him..even though I hated him as a red wing.

Biggest shock between 2 shows for me was zero Lightning Bolt.

Fantastic rail setup for the night, easygoing to get there and a very fun GA crowd around me.

Reminds me why I enjoy seeing this band so much, and while there’s shorter setlists I’ve really liked the approach with touching multiple albums and much less covers.

Also didn’t hurt to see Chelios get some love tonight.

    Here are my highlights

Matt wearing a Pearl Jam shirt - all I could think was that he spilled something on the shirt he was going to wear, and they had to go to the merch tent… ❤️ed it.

Mike 🔥- I would say from the moment he kicked down that wooden stool during Present Tense (awesome way to end the ‘stool session,’) but the Come Back solo started things off and it didn’t end… Immortality… the hole in his Marshall amp… What a performance… Hats off.. to the whole band for that matter, but what what an amazing guitarist, and that was fire.

Jeff on his 12 string is something I only began to ‘appreciate’ after reading an interview about making of Ten, and I am grateful that I did because it stood out… bass for me is usually hidden in the music, but his playing throughout the evening - 12 and 6 - was sick.

Stone - I secretly wanted a Painted Shield cover (that is some awesome music), but the ‘alternative’ was excellent. He ROCKED.

Eddie sounded great and was having a blast!  I’ll bring this up here since it was a part of this show that was hard for me to get past (personal more than not)… Unlike the wine drinking Michael (sic), both this band and myself are not young anymore, and to sing like Eddie has for the better part of 30 years is just… He did it though, and so very well.

I was 13 when Vs. came out… and captain of my hockey team when Yield came out (hello Chelios).

Back in my day,😂 a $39 ticket got 28 songs of the most angst ridden grunge that any teenager could ever hope for… I can’t imagine what other ‘deep cuts’ we would’ve got if things were different - it was that kind of night - the band (and crowd) was totally into it…

Alas, this was a case of quality vs. quantity, and quality it was - Tremor Christ, Green Disease, and Marker in the Sand were AWESOME. They really were. So much so, that if you’re considering a drive to Indiana, queue up a Tom Petty playlist and get going.

Last but not least, what I might call a hidden gem - Josh.

My favorite song of the night was  probably 7 o’clock - I love hearing the new songs during PJ tours and this song was A+… What made it so (and others on the evening), was what was happening towards the back of the stage, and the ‘complementing’ of a sound that made it complete and full. Excellent throughout.

The same can be said for Boon… but sans a Crazy Mary ‘throw down’ with Mike, I’ll leave that one here. 😊

Last note - the outro to Black could have been extended atleast 16 more measures, and the Stones cover excellent.

All in all, band gave it its all, and so happy to have gone,

It's hard for me to articulate my feelings regarding the song 7 O'Clock on Gigaton. Definitely not my cup, and I was unimpressed. Somehow, it didn't sound half bad at the show.

Just saying…..And the most serious things are said in “Just”. 49th show for me. Top 5 level tonight. Hands down. Good God. I do believe they never left the stage after the 1st note. Hammered right through it.
