  • Hope you are feeling better and there’s been progress on your recovery! Happy holidays I hope you will enjoy them
    Good morning Jose.

This morning I made an appointment for another EMG test.
You know, the test where they stick needles in my arm to stimulate my nerves.
The test takes about 45 minutes, with electrodes and needles stimulating my nerves.
I did it 5 months ago, and it is one of the most horrible things I have ever been put thru. It is GOD AWFUL!!

But other than that I am doing fine.

    UGH!

I am looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas. Everyone knows I am a Holiday kind of guy.

Not having received any disability is just flat out wrong.
Hopefully that can get ironed out including retroactive pay back to May.
What a ridiculous country where those who work all their lives and pay into the system get the runaround when they finally need assistance.
    Good morning my friend.

Ask me how I am doing today.
    How are you doing today?

(I know you just answered this to Jose).

    Any headway on disability pay?

I had one of those tests a couple weeks ago. Probably got stabbed about 75 times with those needle probes.

I'm sorry you're going through all of this. Hope you get better soon!

After the 10th-15th needle, I was saying to myself, "Ok, this can't go on much longer."
I couldn't have been more wrong.
I just can't believe I have to do it all over again tomorrow.

Appreciate this topic @SPEEDY MCCREADY  as I’ve been dealing with health issues also, bouncing between tests and specialists. It takes a ton of patience as it takes forever to get thru our speedy health care USA system, despite how Americans try to sell it. And I know my diagnosis for a while it’s been a question of identifying best treatment option and best specialist for four months and counting. Every new test and new specialist takes minimum one month to schedule and get result. Lucky I have great options but it’s taking months and months and months.

I also had that EMG test earlier this year, although it was not fun, it was surprising reading how unpleasant it was in your case.
