And this is exactly why you set up a time to drop with someone instead of saying “I’m going to drop at 3 pm exact” they are probably lurking on this page and buying when someone drops when they announce a time. You have 6 weeks to sell them.. you can wait a few hours to set up a drop time with someone!!! And make sure their profile says they have been a member for a while!!!!

As the tickets are non-transferable, how is TicketClub getting the tickets into the hands of the buyer? Burner Ticketmaster accounts?

Could be burner accounts or meeting buyer at venue. On the Cure tour which had the same type of restrictions apparently vivid sent the buyer a digital file that put the tickets in their wallet.

this is a BS response, they are not a ticket broker selling tickets on behalf of.. they are buying them with newly created TM accounts, then changing the email/login for the account to the person that they sell to... there is an easy solution - TM needs a policy that IF account details change, email, Login, name etc.. then the account gets flagged and puts the tickets into secondary validation. TM sends the account an email that states to use this ticket you will need to produce the CC ending in XXXX to use the ticket in your account. This will sent up an issue with people selling tickets and force refunds or other actions.. of course buyers will be disenfranchised, but that is the risk buying non-transferable tickets from a scalper. 

They will require the use of those tickets for entry to be accommodated with the Original Credit card holder info.. This is what we were told ALL tickets would need in 2020, you would need to show the CC as well as the Digital ticket, They backed off this policy when they realized it would create a nightmare at the venue.. For the few hundred tickets that were scalped, it would not be a big deal,. And if you alerted the buyer in advance that their ticket would require secondary review, its most likely they will not attempt to use the tickets.

If they are serious about preventing scaling they just need to personalize the tickets like plane tickets.  The downside is the photo ID checks at the entrance would make it take forever to enter the venue.

With the scalper concerns that popped up today, I'm just going to throw this out there - I'm looking for 2 GA to STP2 if anyone has extras or can't go. I took my older son to a show in 2014 and we were in GA. This time I'm taking my younger son and he really wants a similar experience. You'd really make this kid's day if we can work something out.

If not, no big deal, I'll keep checking F2F. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
