Honestly I find it slightly comforting to see that some people didn't have tickets, but now have them. However, what makes me most irritated about this is the lack of transparency from Pearl Jam about the whole thing. I have to admit that I'm a little bit skeptical that enough people with a number below mine won in the "redraw" or whatever to push me back an entire section. I know these are still damn good seats, my originals were even better.. so good they could sell them for PREMIUM PRICES?! Hmmmm.

I submitted an email to TC about being literally where I was for the 2010 Indy show. Not sure anything will come of it but it's crazy that my seats haven't improved after 13 years with member #443xxx.
My seats haven't improved at all in 20 years in the club. In fact, they continue to get just a bit worse. I guess not a single person with a number better than mine has let their membership drop and they are still alive. It's quite amazing.

For the St. Louis show on the last tour, it was basically the worst seats I've had. For Indy this year, I think I'm almost exactly where I was in 2010.
So back in the day, I think before 2010 (maybe WAY before), Ten Club members could only get tickets to a single show with membership seats. Then, they made it two shows. Then, they changed the first two rows at every show to lottery. Then, they added an entire GA section in front of all reserved seats. And also around this time, they also cut back a lot on how many shows they do per tour.

Meanwhile, many Pearl Jam fans are getting older and having more money to spend. More people going to more of the shows, with fewer shows available, means everyone gets pushed further and further back every time, every tour.
Yeah - that was likely a factor.

I think another big thing they did this time that nobody is really complaining about is to lump the GA and the Reserved together as a single choice.

I think on past tours, plenty of people were willing to "go for broke" on GA tickets, but didn't really want reserved. And they could do that and either get them or get nothing.

This time, many of them probably ended up with tickets they didn't want. I look for lots more tickets to be up on F2F and for sale elsewhere this time.
The only people we should try to get even with...
    ...are those who've helped us.

Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.

exactly. i feel we all got pushed to make room for rich assholes. it's bad enough that behind the stage is the same price as the front rows and GA.

The "new" is literally where I was for the 2010 show with Member# 443xxx
I'm pretty bummed out after keeping my membership going for 15 years.
I didn't even put in for Noblesville and it's my home show (4 minutes away) through 10C. My number is 230xxx and I was sitting in Section D, Row BB in 2010. I was behind people who didn't even know what the 10Club was. I ended up moving to the lawn because the seats were so bad. I'll be in the lawn this year again and with the lawn pass didn't even have to pay for them (specifically).
your livenation lawn pass may NOT be good for PJ. the rule sand regs state not all shows are a part of it. i looked at getting one for livenation venue in chicago(tinley park).
Thanks for looking out but I did my research before to make sure it was a play to make.

    Lawn pass = $239.00
    PJ ticket = $82.00

Last year with the shows I attended it ended up costing me $9 per show I went to. Less shows so far this year but still some time to hopefully fill in another couple September shows or early October.

good on you, man. i hope they honor the pass.

With now a 3rd seat assignment, can we officially call this, "The Duck, Duck, Grey Duck Tour"? (shout-out to Minnesotans who may get the reference.) :) Alternatives: "Musical Chair Tour"; "3rd(?) Times a Charm Tour"; "TSFKAM (The Seats f/k/a Mine) Tour";  "The Waiting Drove Me Mad, Your Seats are Finally Here and I'm a Mess, I Take Your Seats Back Tour."

In all seriousness, hopefully the 3rd assignment curbs some of the consternation (rightfully so) from everyone getting moved back. But, it may be a 3 steps back, 1 step forward situation for some, at best.

    Yes. Reassigning all 9 shows.

Thank you 10c for making things right!
  • I don’t know if a thank you is in order. This whole thing is a mess. During the last reshuffling NOONE reported an improved seat. Why do you think that will change this time? I’m all for positive vibes, sunshine’s and rainbows but come on.

Dont we pretty much figure the re-shuffle was to make room for verified tickets to sell
  • I put in for both nights in Chicago—sections 310 and 312. My heart goes out to those who didn't get a ticket but, sorry, at $160 for the worst seats in the house I can't help but feel screwed over.

I was just double charged on my credit card after not getting a ticket. Got a ticket, TC email, and now double charged. Safe to assume I have a reassigned (new) ticket…?

I've been increasingly upset with ticketmaster's tenclub dealings, and they screwed me on the last tour, and tickemaster customer service is non existent. It feels hypocritical for pearl jam to continue to rely on them. And that was before this debacle.

Over 20 years ago I used to always get ten club seats in the first ten rows in chicago. I was a little shocked my email has seats on the opposite side of the area. Waiting to see how this settles.

Getting worried, seeing people posting their seat reassignments for Indy.   Originally Sec H, Row U… then got the email about reassignment and my card was charged a second time, but still no word on seats.

First email #1643xxxx   Sec SECD, Row L, Seats 33 - 34 (not great but acceptable seats)

Second email #1649xxxx  Sec SECH, Row U, Seats 44 - 45  (shit seats)

Third email #1635xxxx   No update, how much worse can it get

  • I assume that the verified fan sales are not including the original or the new seats (not yet sent) for 10c members.  Maybe that explains why so few good seats were available ?

So confused! I was confirmed for both Chicago shows and so far only assigned Thursday tickets.
Those tickets are garbage... Section 305 Row 1. No re-assignment at all.
I believe the email said the other show is still being assigned but very nervous, especially with Thursday's trash seats. Anyone have this issue or have any insight?

If the first two assignments were incorrect a third “proper and final” as 10C mentioned is welcome.

Absolutely agree. They shouldn't need to charge our cards again to do so. That's my point. In the past we've always been charged first and then had our seats assigned later. We all know there is a method for that. There shouldn't be any reason why they can't correctly assign our seats without charging the credit cards again.

Just wanted to say this thread & the one with the spreadsheet are the reasons they're actually following through with lottery wins & seniority seating.

Felt like a dart board before, but now it feels like diligence is being done👍

I guarantee it's an issue where it's just easier for the people at TM to cancel them and create a new ticket orders. The people they have working on this have limited tools and reassigning seats is probably not one of them. They certainly could do it if they got their programmers involved, but they don't want to pay for that.
