I think my two seats for Indy are a couple of rows slightly worse than where I was in 2010. You'd think another 13 years of paying for a membership would gain a few spots, but I guess not.
Same here, I was in section C last time, now in Section D with a 196xxx. I'm just glad to be in the pavilion.
In 2009 by 10c seats were in 309....now I'm in 334. I guess that's better?
Ten Club had 300 level seats assigned for UC in 2009???
I could be wrong but I can't imagine buying those myself
But there weren't very many dates that tour either...I remember a lot of foreigners flying in to Chicago for that show as well.
Back then my number would have been much worse than now. I would guess that I have moved up quite a bit since then.
Yeah, that hangs together, just surprises me, but makes sense.
thanks for the context.
Also shows what the band gets revenue wise vs possible return though I’m sure you go to more than 1 show in that time period ($20 * 14 = 280 per member to maintain your membership).
one way Pearl Jam could make more money beyond the membership would be having a PSL (personal seating license) type store for expired old membership numbers.
where you could bid on old expired membership numbers just like football season ticket licenses that are sold from person to person (though PJ would be selling these).
though after this mess, not sure how many folks would rush out to buy those (as it likely would be priced way more than what pay dues would be)
just made me think when someone brought up how they wish they could just pay their back dues to get their old number. I know prior to the last several tours I would have (from 2006 and expired in 2010).
Didn't draw shit on Tuesday, nor did my buddy, but his sister did so we thought we were shut out.
On Wednesday I drew: N1: FLRL, Row 24, Seats 3-4 N2: Sec 113, Row 24, Seats 19-20
My buddy also drew on Wednesday, and he just signed up for 10C for the first time a couple weeks ago in anticipation of this tour. He got: N1: Sec 109 N2: Sec 219
Not sure on his row/seats.
After thinking I didn't get jack squat, I'm cool with getting anything and not having to stress out about the Verified Fan sale, which is sure to be a shitshow.
I was finally lucky enough to get two GA tix for the Chicago show on 9/5. Like an idiot, I realized after that fact that 9/5 is not good for me. Would anyone be willing to do a straight up trade for two GA tix for St. Paul on 9/2?
Yeah, my 10C seats keep getting worse each year and I'm too dumb to learn.
Did you get a pair or single? I’m wondering because I got a single and that may have got me a better seat. I’m 193k, in sec E, row H, closer to the soundboard. Based on the demand, I’m pretty happy with the outcome.

I did get a pair of tickets. I've seen many people on here post they got better seats with a much higher 10C number, but maybe those people all got a single ticket.

The "new" is literally where I was for the 2010 show with Member# 443xxx
I'm pretty bummed out after keeping my membership going for 15 years.
I didn't even put in for Noblesville and it's my home show (4 minutes away) through 10C. My number is 230xxx and I was sitting in Section D, Row BB in 2010. I was behind people who didn't even know what the 10Club was. I ended up moving to the lawn because the seats were so bad. I'll be in the lawn this year again and with the lawn pass didn't even have to pay for them (specifically).
your livenation lawn pass may NOT be good for PJ. the rule sand regs state not all shows are a part of it. i looked at getting one for livenation venue in chicago(tinley park).
I submitted an email to TC about being literally where I was for the 2010 Indy show. Not sure anything will come of it but it's crazy that my seats haven't improved after 13 years with member #443xxx.

My seats haven't improved at all in 20 years in the club. In fact, they continue to get just a bit worse. I guess not a single person with a number better than mine has let their membership drop and they are still alive. It's quite amazing.
For the St. Louis show on the last tour, it was basically the worst seats I've had. For Indy this year, I think I'm almost exactly where I was in 2010.
The only people we should try to get even with...
...are those who've helped us.
Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.

Yep, i've been going to Indy shows using the 10C for 25 years. This 2023 show will be the worst seats I've gotten.

Thanks for looking out but I did my research before to make sure it was a play to make.
Lawn pass = $239.00 PJ ticket = $82.00
Last year with the shows I attended it ended up costing me $9 per show I went to. Less shows so far this year but still some time to hopefully fill in another couple September shows or early October.
Got another email today I was hoping for a we fucked up these are your new seats
I was thinking the same thing. Turned out to be the comemorative ticket notification.

So back in the day, I think before 2010 (maybe WAY before), Ten Club members could only get tickets to a single show with membership seats. Then, they made it two shows. Then, they changed the first two rows at every show to lottery. Then, they added an entire GA section in front of all reserved seats. And also around this time, they also cut back a lot on how many shows they do per tour.
Meanwhile, many Pearl Jam fans are getting older and having more money to spend. More people going to more of the shows, with fewer shows available, means everyone gets pushed further and further back every time, every tour.

Not too much of a downgrade, just moved across the arena and up a few rows.
I wouldn't be happy if I paid full price for seats in the 300 level. I'm sure you could get those for below face value closer to the show.
