I had decent seats for N1 and high up for N2. I'm prepping for high up both nights now. I say high up... it's not high up at all at dickies but yeah.  I'll try to move up in F2F

Sounds like it may change but for now:
    Night 1: Floor 2, row 12
    Night 2: GA pit

Flying in from Atlanta Wed AM.  Will go straight to the airport after the night 2 show for a 5:50 am flight back home.  That strategy worked out well for me at Camden last year.   This will be the first time ever in the GA pit.  Really looking forward to both shows and the likely cowboy/cattle/livestock/oil well themed posters and show t-shirts.  Just hope it's not Dallas Cowboys themed.  I might have to pass on it if it is.

Have fun in GA! Been awhile since I snagged GA. Memphis ‘14 was a little far back on Stone’s side, but Jacksonville’16 I was three people back from Ed in the center. It’s a blast!

What are the best record shops, breweries, restaurants, pizza in the Ft Worth area? Anything worth checking out close to the venue? We’re staying about a mile away.

There are several new smaller record shops in Ft. Worth that I haven't had a chance to check out yet living in Dallas.

Doc's Records is in Ft. Worth, and they're pretty good.  If you have time, check out Forever Young in Grand Prairie and Josey Records in Carrolton (Dallas).

    N1 : Sec 124 (side stage)
    N2 : GA/PIT

Staying at an airBNB about 3/4mi walk to the Southwest of the arena. I'm told by a buddy who lives there the area is nice and safe.

Let's go! Sadly the Rangers are out of town. What's everyone doing with the "off day" between the shows?
What I am doing on the "off day" is a good question because I have no idea.  I debated until the last minute with Ft Worth vs Chicago because the Cubs have a day game at Wrigley on the off day.  I figured my odds were better to win both shows at Ft Worth so it led me to go with it.  Winning both shows in the lotto was priority # 1.  I would have chosen Austin first since there was no day off between shows giving me one less day needing a hotel and leaving my wife at home with our children but I could not get off work those days.

First time in Ft Worth? A good way to spend an afternoon is at the Stockyards.  Yes, they do have a longhorn cattle drive.  It is actually fun to see.  There is also a cool new brewery called Second Rodeo there.  Lots of shops (mostly cowboy themed).  A fun way to enjoy a unique part of town for a few hours.  It is also a short walk from Joe T Garcia's Tex Mex restaurant.  I will probably get a few mixed reviews on recommend it, but it is a cool place to visit if you haven't been, great atmosphere outside on the patio and the food is pretty good.

Have tickets for N1 and N2, on the fence about actually attending N1.  I have a single, and it's not a great seat... especially when I compare it to others here that have posted up their seat locations with similar 10C numbers...

Maybe the reshuffle will work in my favor and change my mind... going to N2 for sure and on to both dates in Austin.  Happy to be in the building for all three... it just seems kind of greedy to schedule a week away from wife / young kids / life obligations for PJ.... but if an outstanding ticket happens for N1... well...
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.
  • Excited for N2, taking my youngest son to his first PJ concert

As far as BBQ you’ll be in one hell of an area. Some of Texas top 50 in the area. Heims (go to original location. Much better than new location) Hurtados and Panther City. Of those 3 Panther City is my go to.

Goldees is about 15 minutes out of town and is the #1 ranked BBQ place in Texas. Expect lines.

Rahr and Sons brewery and Martin House are in Fort Worth. Martin House is known for making some pretty unique beers. Love that place. Plenty of other little breweries there as well.

Flying in from NYC and first time in Texas. Is downtown Fort Worth a nice area to stay? Are there restaurants and bars in that area? It seems like a short 8-10 min. drive to the arena. Thanks.
