Did anybody not get tickets? Seems like everybody finally got them as far as locations well can’t wait to see peoples reaction when the premiums get released.
I was just guessing- because they play so many more shows? There were hundreds of extras/miracles at the Hollywood bowl shows I was just at. People were scoring tix for $11 on StubHub, I’ve never seen that before for any live event. My group miracled about 20. You’re right though, I’m sure demand is equally high, I was only trying to figure out why sear locations for pj blow this tour- but it’s TM saving them for more $$, not demand. They screw us fans so they can sell the best seats for a premium price.
In a policy statement issued in July about its fan club tickets, Ticketmaster called the fan club allocation voluntary. But managers and agents throughout the business said that it had been accepted as a standard — if unevenly applied — practice for years, until Ticketmaster recently surprised the business by clamping down.
“Ticketmaster has always agreed that for that 8 percent of tickets, bands could do pretty much whatever they want with them,” said Mike Luba, String Cheese Incident’s manager. “Now it feels like that scene in ‘Star Wars’ with the trash compactor, where the walls are about to squash everybody out.”
ANYONE who thinks that Pearl Jam is getting more fan club tickets to sell/distribute to fan club members is sadly mistaken.
That was in regards to fan clubs that weren't using TM to sell tickets, ie the old 10C system. All TM cares about is that they get their fees, they don't care who they sell the tickets to. The fact PJ is using TM for the fan club tickets is why the allocations are larger now than in the past.

This is not true for Pearl Jam. They are getting more tix in exchange for allowing dynamic pricing. That said more tickets does not mean good seats. It is a deal with the devil.

Unless you or someone has PROOF, I don't believe it, just because an artist/band tells you they have the best seats available for their fans, doesn't really mean it's true, especially with so many fan 10 Club member on here saying they got upper level seats.

There is the unofficial 2nd degree of separation comment from Tim Bierman. I was 19th row for Camden on the center aisle. 175XXX. Those are pretty good seats. Whenever tickets go onsale to the public you can see which sections are not part of the sales, even premium or verified sales. Those are 10C tix and they usually are the sections close to the stage. Problem is there will never be enough tix for the PJ fans and TM has a monopoly.

The day of the Springsteen show I went to in Houston in February, tickets were on StubHub for $5.00, as far as Phish at Hollywood Bowl, it followed the M.O. of a LOT of shows these days, HUGE made up demand for shows when they first go on sale, then they are cheaper than dirt leading up to the show, I am a big Phish fan, seen them 125+ times, I knew that they have played at Hollywood Bowl twice before, both times 1 show only, then they announce 3 nights? I knew there would be TONS of tickets around, I went to Seattle and The Greek in Berkley instead.
My guess is maybe Pearl Jam is offering more tickets through 10Club, but if they are, the better seats are FOR SURE a smaller amount and there are a LOT more upper levels given to fan club members, the most frustrating thing to me is their tickets are non transferable, which makes it even worse to deal with if you get bad seats, I know there's F2F, but come on.
Anyone who disputes the fact that they’ve gotten much more tickets for the fan club starting with the 2020 tour than they ever did before, hasn’t been paying attention to these lotteries.

We agree man, we’re on the same side here. Didn’t mean to get in a dick measuring contest about how many shows we’ve seen. There’s always a lot of that on here. I was just attempting to come to a guess as to why so many folks were getting shitty seats. It’s all good, I hope you have a kick ass time at the shows you go to man!

I'm in the low 4XX,XXX so I'm not sure how these seat assignments happened seeing other people's draws. That being said in past lotteries I've always gotten lower bowl. Not sure what's going on this year.
Congrats! Another example of a higher number getting better seats than lower numbers.
His 109 and 117 are both near the back corners...and both are behind most floor seats.. how is that an example?

Would you rather be near the middle to back of the floor trying to look over heads or elevated from the same distance?

Anyone get behind the stage for Austin? Probably the closest seats physically to the stage, but haven't heard anyone mention them nor were they offered in the lotto selection.

That's not an example of them screwing up, that's an example of them saying those seats are considered better in their assessment. I'm with you on preferring being in the ring as opposed to the floor, but its not a really good example of a screw up.. if his seats were 120 or 119 then it would be a good example..
So "Rather" is a personal opinion in this case.. Chicago was obvious... people with high numbers near stage and low numbers further back and in the 300s..

There are other more clearcut examples of bad seat assignments for both Austin shows here in the forums. But yes, there are venues that code some floor seats as better seats than some side seats.
I’m open to trading either of my floor sets for decent/comparable side stage seats if anyone is interested.

I understand... sat on the 2nd row floor behind GA twice.. (OKC 2022 and Tampa 2016) hated it both times. My wife said she'd rather not go than have a floor seat again... so I completely feel your pain..

I clicked on the photos link on google maps for the Moody Center. From audience pictures from other shows, it looks like all the seats are going to be good, so a lot of preliminary complaints about location based on a seat map might be all for nothing.
