I just got an email response from tickets today saying the seat assignments are random, seniority is not taken into account. This is in direct conflict with what was posted by the band. WTF.
    Can you post the response?
I tried I guess the pic didn't upload. Here's the text from the first email:

    Hello Allison,
Thank you for reaching out to us. We understand that you're wondering about your granted tickets.

The automated ticket request system is totally random. Your not guaranteed seats that you think are good based on priority. You were granted tickets based on availability and quantity of tickets requested.

    Thank you,

Then I shared the Pearl Jam presale post that speaks to seniority and I got this back. I can't even believe this garbage.

    Hello Allison,

As stated before, you're not guaranteed seats that you think are good based on priority. As per the information you attached, "be aware Ten Club seated tickets will be spread farther back into the uppermost levels, and include some of the best seat locations in the house".

The seats you were granted are in the uppermost levels.

    Thank you,
    Louis ZRT337

“What you think are good” no, lets go with what typically is considered premium priced and typically more desireable. That “what YOU think are good” was an erroneous statement

The whole exchange was quite rude, offensive, and purposely deceptive.

FWIW...  10C = 439XXX   Only single seats were requested.

    AUS N1 = Sect 218 Row H (Priority 3 - GA/Reserved)
    AUS N2 = Sect 206 Row E (Priority 4 - GA/Reserved)

I've never been in the upper deck for a PJ show.  I'm trying to get to the mindset of "at least I'm in the building," but I'm not quite there year.  We shall see what F2F has to offer in the coming weeks.

    11/15/2013 - Dallas, TX; 11/16/2013 - Oklahoma City, OK;

    8/10/2018 - Safeco Field, Seattle, WA; 8/18 & 20/2018 - Wrigley Field, Chicago, IL; 9/2 & 4/2018 - Fenway Park, Boston, MA

7/8 & 9/2022 - Hyde Park, London, EN,   UPCOMING: Nashville, St. Louis, OKC

I'm pretty much there, but taking the same approach. My only issue is that i'm prob going to have to get really lucky to get "good seats" on F2F and I'm not sure anyone is going to be in a hurry to grab my crappy one. At this point, I just hope the dude that said the sound sucks in the arena is wrong. :)

If this is the case there is a serious issue as this is in conflict with Ten Club membership ticket policy.  Seniority matters.  It's why thousands of us have made damn sure we renewed our memberships every year.

    Explanation of paid membership benefits:

    • PRIORITY TICKETING - Ten Club holds the best tickets in the house for members-only presale opportunities and rewards longtime fans for their dedication with seniority-based seating. Ten Club continually improves upon its ticketing program to ensure that fan club members have access to the most tickets possible per show.

Yup, it's in direct conflict with what I was told I was buying with my 30 years of membership dues and in conflict with the tour post made by the band for this tour.

I was hopeful that even though they handed the Ten Club over to Ticketmaster, this band would still honor their longstanding commitments to their fans. Doesn't seem like that's the case.

They've moved to the DMB/Warehouse model also in cohoots with TM/LN.  This is what the Warehouse says about seniority seat assignments.  I've put in for DMB shows in ATL and WPB every year since 99 except for this year, and each year my seats have gotten worse:

    Seniority Ticketing Status
For the majority of shows, returning members will be offered priority seating based upon their original date of membership. The longer you remain a member of the Warehouse, the better your seats at shows will be.

It's like that for most places.. Normally I would want better seats, but, Moody and Dickies aren't that big of a place. Seats will be good to awesome wherever you are in my opinion. Just how it shaked out this time around. Check out some images of those places, making it in the building before the public sale is a winner IMO.
This.  All day long.  I've never been to the venue (upcoming shows will be first time) but I'm happy to have tickets and be in the building.  For those curious - N1 Sec 115, N2 Sec 111.  10C number 420XXX.
Look at everyone's seat location.  I've only seen two people with seats in 106-108 and none in 120-118.  99% of the Austin comments have seats in 110-116, rear floor sections or in upper levels.  All in rear end of arena.  Either they completely f'd up seniority seating or they lied about only 10% of the tickets going premium. There is just no way more ten club members aren't in better seats without an f up.  don't be happy to just be in the building when they don't deliver on the process they created. everyone with Austin tickets should be pissed.
Or, lots of great seats will be available at regular price on FRI???
More likely lots of great seats will be available at outrageous Platinum prices Friday.
    This weekend we rock Portland

Looks like we're row-mates! These should be great seats. We will be elevated slightly higher than the stage with no one in front of us. This is a pic from row A  sec 111: https://aviewfrommyseat.com/photo/204995/Moody+Center/section-111/row-A/seat-3/

    I scored GA (Priority 1)for N1.
    Wife scored Sec 216 (Priority 1-GA/Res) N2

She has a crappy 10C#. Still was hoping for something better. Will be watching F2F for upgrades. This is all we tried for this tour. Stoked for Austin.

They just had monster jam trucks in it, it’s a basketball arena.

    One of em I’m flr 2 R12, other night I’m flr 4 row 12.

Tip from a pro: the sizes and drawing scales are never perfect.  The day of the Bruce show dozens of tix were listed at face on TM and sat there because scalpers sleep on day-of-show releases. The Bruce tix were first 2 rows behind stage, subscribe to their twitter feed to see realtime release info.

not the best tickets, but I'm happy to have them.  It is easily worth Membership cost to get these seats at face value and be guaranteed to see the best band in the word.

It's almost like they do for Phish.  No guarantee you'll get tickets at all, but if you do they're completely random seats.  No one pays anything extra for the opportunity either.  Maybe there's less demand though- they tour ALL year long, about 3x the quantity of dates PJ does in a year.  It's hard to tell if they even did seniority at all for Austin.  Where the hell are the seats close to the stage on the sides which I've come to expect?!  Those are all "Priority" or whatever they call it now?
Less demand????  Phish is playing 7 nights at MSG in July/August, Pearl Jam played 1 show there last year, how is that less demand???

This is from 2015 and it's only gotten worse!

    https://www.nytimes.com/2015/10/05/business/media/bands-and-ticketmaster-wrangle-over-rules-for-fan-club-sales.html

In a policy statement issued in July about its fan club tickets, Ticketmaster called the fan club allocation voluntary. But managers and agents throughout the business said that it had been accepted as a standard — if unevenly applied — practice for years, until Ticketmaster recently surprised the business by clamping down.

“Ticketmaster has always agreed that for that 8 percent of tickets, bands could do pretty much whatever they want with them,” said Mike Luba, String Cheese Incident’s manager. “Now it feels like that scene in ‘Star Wars’ with the trash compactor, where the walls are about to squash everybody out.”

ANYONE who thinks that Pearl Jam is getting more fan club tickets to sell/distribute to fan club members is sadly mistaken.
