Anyone else thinking selecting “GA or reserved” equals shutout if you didn’t get GA? I’ve not heard one person say they got selected for reserved that only picked GA or reserved.

Not true.  I picked GA/RES for all 4 TX shows.  Got one GA and three RES
I know I was born and I know that I'll die. The in between is mine.

A couple of friends selected GA or reserved and hit Austin 2 reserved (upper bowl).

Anybody else getting really bad seats compared to other shows in prior years? I have both Austin shows 110 and 116. 116 is row R. My number is decent, 229,xxx and usually end up in side halfway down arena, few rows up.. I’ll take it, just doesn’t make sense

I think there's still more to come. I dont thin k theyre done yet. My first choice was Chicago Night 2, and I had GA/Reserved, Reserved & even had side/back as a fallback. I refuse to believe I missed all 3 with it as my first choice.

I understood it as GA/ RES being either or and RES to be if you defo do not want to be in GA.

I've been pretty lucky over the years. I usually get a ticket through the lotto. This time I got 3 shows (so far). I've also got completely shut out a few times. When that happens I just try not to be a baby about it. Its not a conspiracy and the "system isn't broken" just because you lost.
There could be something wrong with the system though if people who have St. Paul 1 as their first choice get nothing and someone who has it as their 3rd,  4th, or 5th choice gets tix.

I signed up for Verified Fan regardless of getting 10C tickets just so that I had the option of purchasing in case I list the lottery.

9 shows in 5 cities is why.

I won reserved floor seats for FW night 2, the only show I put in for using GA or Reserved option.  It seems the FW shows may be the exception though, not sure.

Maybe it's just a coincidence, but for every show that rolled in today my seats got progressively worse.
  • I just changed my verified fan dates based on what tickets I got today. I wonder what that will be like on Friday!

10C management has fallen so, so far since the departure of Kelly Curtis
    Agreed!
I'm not going to bash their management bill will add that today's lottery is yet another example where a little bit of communication from 10C would go a long way. Unfortunately, poor communication has long been the modus operandi. For example, it would take them less than five minutes to message something along the lines of "we're aware there are some issues with Austin N1 ticketing and we're looking into it." Or, "We're currently working thru priority requests and once those have all been sent out we'll move on to the next tier, beginning with second priorities." Or, "While we initially anticipated notifications would begin going out on 4/24, please sit tight as these won't start hitting your inboxes until tomorrow."
All of it.  A simple update on why the process is so fucked right now.  Clearly ticketmaster isn't following 10c rules so they need to get their lawyers on line 1 and get after it.

Unless there’s a wild twist coming for people winning tickets, cleanup on aisle Ten Club is needed.
This is correct because it is a lottery. A few win and most don’t

The TM premium are 10% of the arena seats. So 1500-2000 seats per show. Those aren't going to be floor seats behind GA or the back corners of the lower level. I think a good amount of people are forgetting that. 10c seats are going to be pushed back.

Clearly there are some issues with the ticketing. And it doesn’t help that 10% were held for premium. It shouldn’t be this difficult, confusing, and stressful after 30+ years.

Yep! I haven't either. (excluding the Texas shows)
I did both. How am I supposed to know which one of my selections was picked if I got reserved?

    Answer: No way of knowing

A few win again and again on lower priority shows than people with that same show ranked first? That *is* a lottery, but it would not be as described via the ranking system. Also, everyone who got lucky just kept getting lucky over and over again! It’s odd, that’s all.

I had St Paul N2>St Paul N1>Austin N1>Austin N2 and just got picked for section 111 row J for Austin N2.  Does this mean I have a good chance of getting my top 3 priorities then?
  • pjtroy34pjtroy34 Posts: 8
So far I’ve gotten tickets to my 3rd and 4th preferences and not a thing on my first 2.

Both reserved when I selected “GA or reserved” to squash the “if you don’t get GA you get shut out” theory.
