Man, I'm getting nothing. No email to even tell me my card declined. After having a confirmation yesterday, this really sucks.

How ridiculous is this comment.  Some left and came back for various reasons. Some are new fans.   Fight entitlement and being old and bitter.
Whatever. Half the 600xxx+ are scalpers who just bought memberships last year. Wake up dopey
I am 662XXX and I got mine in 2016 (let lapse from 1998 , doh!)

It seems the more recent are in the 700XXX's
We pay a lot of attention to numbers with a bunch of xxx's at the end, but has anybody wondered if we really know what they mean today? If you are now 662 and had one previously that you let lapse, wouldn't all of our numbers bump up one everytime someone lower lapsed? I'm not sold that we truly know the value of being 345xxx or 470xxx or 538xxx.

Not a very important thought as relates to the issues of today, but just a general thought, esp. with the weight some people put on their own importance because of a certain number.
This debacle would present as good an opportunity as any for them to clear out all the dead numbers and re-issue everyone new numbers.

Great idea in theory.  Do you have any confidence that they wouldn't fuck that up too.

I'm wondering if something happened with the way the preferences ran yesterday, and the band/TM tried to resolve it by allocating more tickets to the fan club.  It would explain all the people scoring tickets after not winning.  It could also mean there won't be much left for the verified fan (public) onsale.

Yup! Everyone got what they wanted in the lower bowl. Also, they’re sending us gift bags and they’re sending Jeff Ament to everyone’s homes for a personal jam session, after which he’ll drive us to a skate park and teach us all to kickflip.
ahhhh, nice! glad it worked out for everyone!!

that would be really cool actually. I'm in the 600's (please don't yell at me guy that is mad about people with 600 numbers) but I joined like 6-7 years ago just because I was lazy and never paid before. Wish I did, but whatever. I'd be interested to see exactly where I am now if they cleared all the dead numbers and moved everyone up.

I signed my wife up two weeks ago, her number is 737,xxx and she hit Chicago 1 on her 4th priority and her seats are better then mine for the same show, being two sections closer to the stage after I got reassigned on my priority 1 hit from yesterday for the same show. craziness.
are her seats really good? are they still doing the lottery piece where rows 1,2 9,10 get randomly assigned?
They don't do that anymore, but they should! I lucked out once and got 10th row center in Noblesville for the 2010 tornado show. Newer fans should at least have a chance at something like that.

Can anyone more familiar with the Xcel energy in St Paul help me out as far as what seats are better between section 111  row 21 and section 203 row 7?

My thoughts are the 203 even though its higher is a better view? I'm a concert newbie, so if this is a stupid question forgive me.

I'm thinking they did too. I'm expecting Twitter to be flooded with tweets about how ridiculous the tickets are when they finally go on sale. It's going to be like 10 normal tickets and the rest premium.

I've read more posts of people getting new/worse seats than getting new/good seats

Probably a lot of people have pondered that over time including myself.  Definitely an interesting component and idea.  Over time, it seems more of a way to track us chronologically, instead of us keeping track of each other.
The only time it's generally been informative is when it seemed confirmations were trickling out in the order of member numbers and seat locations.  Although, seat location seems to be less of a thing now with the before times versus the after times.
Edit: Even today I tried doing a search of active members.  Unfortunately, just a lot of inconclusive data given the forum number is not at all reflective of who belongs given particular quotes from people over the years.
