Chicago 1 seat update....  I was on the floor section 1....and now I'm section 234.  I don't who is behind this madness...meanwhile my friend has a 10C number in the 700's is in the same section.  I'll follow everyone else....  "I'm happy to be in the building"...even though I went from the floor to section 234.  WTF

1st priority was for St. Paul. Initial tickets were exactly where I get assigned when I win reserved.  Have to go reserved for elevated view. Wife is short.  No GA for us.  Reassigned is Floor Left.  Must admit when I saw these in the past my thought was I would never buy floor behind a GA.  Now it looks like my original seat area is now an area of “premium” or maybe lower 10C #’s lost their spot and got pushed into mine and my new area is one that high #’s were getting in the past.  Disappointed but now I know my new expectation and will decide on future shows.  I’d rather lose out on GA that I could possibly swap with someone for lower bowl.  That will be my new approach.

Yup! Everyone got what they wanted in the lower bowl. Also, they’re sending us gift bags and they’re sending Jeff Ament to everyone’s homes for a personal jam session, after which he’ll drive us to a skate park and teach us all to kickflip.

I signed my wife up two weeks ago, her number is 737,xxx and she hit Chicago 1 on her 4th priority and her seats are better then mine for the same show, being two sections closer to the stage after I got reassigned on my priority 1 hit from yesterday for the same show. craziness.
THIS. This is what I am upset about right now. We all get that your # has nothing to do with 'winning' the lottery, but it absolutely should count for your seat location. I've never considered canceling my membership until this sshow.

are her seats really good? are they still doing the lottery piece where rows 1,2 9,10 get randomly assigned?

Tim Bierman held a fireside chat where he explained everything that happened and took questions.

So it appears they have redone the whole system for the first 5 shows.  I assume/expect/hope the same will be done for the last 4?

Where is the best explanation of the Premium Seat process?  I’m guessing they are closer to stage in Indy but at what price?  Double?

Ed and the Earthings had $800+ Premium tickets
they also had $14 tickets day of show

Yep.  Ticket purchasing has completely changed, the best price is now waiting until day of show, except for Taylor Swift
  • If guy have a membership number of 600xxx + stop posting. Just stop, nobody cares
How ridiculous is this comment.  Some left and came back for various reasons. Some are new fans.   Fight entitlement and being old and bitter.
Whatever. Half the 600xxx+ are scalpers who just bought memberships last year. Wake up dopey
And I'm sure they are the ones posting here, dopey.
So because it’s the only the people posting here means it isn’t happening? Why do you think all the bitching is going on? Because they’re not enough seats. Again, 600xxx+, nobody cares. Sit on the lawn in Indy

Mine went from unfulfilled to both nights St. Paul. Super happy but they got to get their system together.  It can’t be this difficult after 3 decades

    So, with the dust settling...

Did anyone in Chicago have seats get better?
Did anyone score 100/200 level seats today?
A lot of people posted 100/200 level seats. I got 100 level for both Chicago nights. 300 level aren't bad seats if you're closer to the stage and not too far up.

    Where are your seats?
108 row 7 for night 1, 105 row 19 for night 2. That row 19 is the last row in the back of the 100 level, just about as far from the stage as you can get, so just barely made it in, heh. There are no seats directly in front of me either, so I wont have to worry about someone tall in front of me and I can stand without being in the way of anyone behind me, I guess that's cool.
