Chicago members are getting dicked down by the man. Praying Ft. Worth is a different story
Only those with really high numbers that for some reason expected to keep their original seats.
We get it bud. You're on TM's side in this. People who have been members for 15+ years getting the worst seats they've ever gotten but you're on the corporate monopoly's side.
I'm on the side of reality and the fan club that I've benefited from for 23 years. There are a lot of reasons why our seats are worse than ever before. Yes, some of that is Ticketmaster and their premium seating, but it's also because they obtained a much larger number of club tickets than ever before and because there are so few shows for members to choose from. They had a choice between having more members in the building or having fewer members with better seats. They chose the former. If they chose the latter, there would have been people complaining they didn't get tickets at all. They can't win.
How would you know any of that with any degree of confidence? Not buying it man. At the end of the day it comes down to the almighty dollar, and TM can make more of it if they don't give a shit about the "real fans."
They told us so, a "record breaking number of members".
Is it just me or does this seem to be a primarily chicago show issue? If so, could it be chalked up to a simple supply and demand issue? Chicago was obviously going to be the most popular stop on this abbreviated tour, hence more 10c members pushed further back? I think it’s more a function of a 9 show tour rather than how the 10c process works. But that’s just my two cents.
It's definitely a Chicago issue. My St Paul seats are far better than my Chicago seats are.
And it really shouldn't be surprising. Chicago is easily the most accessible venue on this mini tour for anyone who lives on the Eastern Seaboard/all the places in between the coast and Illinois, as well as being a big city in its own right. Add in the band's ties to the city and it is a perfect storm for bad seats.
Not saying it is a good thing. It clearly sucks, especially if people have previously got better seats. But it is somewhat understandable.
Now if 10C members were getting bad seats in St Paul, THAT would be far more alarming about the direction things are going.
Member# 198XXX Today's drawings are in line with what I originally expected. Kind of a wash the first night. Big downgrade the 2nd night but that is just from my perspective. Section 219 is on the wing and you can't beat first row! Totally fine with how it panned out though. Super excited for these shows in September and I've got better seats than all of you for Wednesday! Bleacher tickets for the Cubbies. I'm going to need to really pace myself that week!
Chicago Night 1 1st Drawing = Section 105 Row 4 Today's Drawing = Section 108 Row 16 (Aisle seats I think?)
Chicago Night 2 1st Drawing = Section 219 Row 1 (In my eyes these seats were amazing) Today's Drawing = Section 107 Row 15
Ft Worth N1 still in lower bowl on the front side of the stage, which is all I give a shit about. N2 pending. I predict that these shows will be the best of the entire tour given how small the venue is. Stoked

I had three sets of tickets come through today.. St. Paul 2 and then Chicago 1 & 2. Seats were all worse, but the bigger head scratcher is I claimed my first pair and they weren't in my TM account. Played around a bit, and then just for kicks logged into my wife's TM account on a different computer and there they were. My tickets, my email, my 10C number wound up in her TM account. Not the end of the world but what the hell... so then before I claimed the others I made absolutely certain I wasn't logged into her account on any device, etc....well long story short the other two sets wound up there too. So all three sets of my tickets are now in her TM account.
Just don't piss her off between now and September ....

Night 1 was my choice #6 and they moved me up one section and 6 rows to really decent tickets that appear to be the only ones I might use. I have a deep hatred of American Airlines, so I really don't want to do it.

I think all the shows got a record number of members. Maybe Chicago being in higher demand meant more low number winners? I don't know for sure about that. But yeah, being a 9 show tour definitely is a part of it. With 30 shows, they could have fewer at each show for mostly everyone to get tickets, and we'd all have better seats.

Nothing is that simple. There are always multiple factors. Just because they say "premium" doesn't mean they are. And those bad "premium" tickets didn't push anyone out the majority.
FT Worth 2, moved from 116 row 13 - on the Isle to 115 Row 10 - 2 seats in from the isle - little better, more center straight on view from the back of the 100s
Not as good as my Nashville seats, but with higher demand, I’m happy with the reseating!
My wife is short, so off the floor with some height and halfway across the floor closer to the stage feels much better!
Thanks 10C!
Nice upgrade! I prefer yours over mine which stayed pretty much the same: FLR 2, Row 4 - 157xxx
