I go to SK every year. So if PJ plays, that's just an added bonus for me.

Since Ed mentioned this was the end of the Gigaton tour, just a reminder: Pearl Jam hasn't played Atlanta since BEFORE LIGHTNING BOLT was released (remember that) and they've only played 1 (one) festival show here since the RIOT ACT TOUR IN 2003. It's time.

  • Let’s make it happen!
  • Yes, PJ, come to Atlanta!
(Don’t make me suffer Hartsfield-Jackson agony again! After the missed flight I nearly didn’t make it to Fort Worth!)

Tell management now to get those dates penciled in!

At least the big round bar in the international area is fun. The bartenders there always crack me up.

  • Now that the 2023 tour is done (bummer!), I was thinking about the pins they could make for an Atlanta show and I know they're usually rock, punk, or hardcore bands but Outkast or Run the Jewels would be kinda cool.

I could see them maybe using the logo/font of the early 90s Atlanta band Follow For Now. FFN opened for Pearl Jam when they played Athens in April 92, and were supposed to open the next night in Atlanta but the show was cancelled. But they brought FFN onstage during their ATL Lollapalooza set a few months later.

  • Bump for Atlanta!

Happy birthday to my daughter today! 11 years ago, my wife was pregnant with our second child. My first child’s pregnancy brought some complications (all good now!) that kept me from going to Columbia, SC in 2008. Had to turn around on the way there. So the Music Midtown show was going to be my first since 2006!  My wife started having early labor the week of the show, but as the weekend approached, things were all good. I made it to the show with my sister (killer festival set, that bootleg is seriously good) and about 30 hours later my daughter was born! Fond memories of that show and how it coincided with the birth of my beautiful daughter!

Can’t believe she is 11 already and heading to middle school next year. Where the hell does the time go?

    Happy bday, Amelia! ❤️

I don't know what show you went to in 2006 but it was nowhere close to Atlanta because the closest place they played to Atlanta was Cincinnati, OH.   Not that it will do any good but I will sure bump this thread.  Playing in Atlanta again is just a pipe dream.  I just hope for some place I don't have to get on an airplane to get to.  Only a 4 hour drive and I will be turning cartwheels!  Maybe Charlotte or back to Columbia, SC (they love that place).

Hey, four hours for me too! But I like that one hour flight more.

My sister used to live in NYC, so I did night 1 of East Rutherford.

The Eastern is a cool venue. Just saw The Smile and Explosions in the Sky there this year.

Pretty sure I saw K Flay there February '22.  But that was the most wasted I've ever been at a show, so it's very possible I'm thinking of another venue.
I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.

Today being my birthday 10/10, I'm putting in my vote for an Atlanta concert. Not a festival, a real show. There's so many MUSIC venues to chose from, instead of performing at a sports stadium. Please, please, please... bring the PJ love to Atlanta!!! (Or at least the state of GA, c'mon!)

Came out of the grocery store Sunday evening in the Atlanta burbs and this was playing on PJ Radio:

Hopefully just a cruel joke and not a proclamation!  ;)
