Saw Jack White at The 40 Watt last week. What a great show and awesome new album!

Please reconsider. TX got 4 shows last year. Our state demo has changed drastically since covid. Just gotta convince them to play OTP. (Only exception is the Fox). The arena in Duluth is nice. Outdoors in Alpharetta?? Hell let’s get in on the ball park game and have a couple shows at Truist Park. Or go another 45 mins out east to Athens. Remodeled venue for the Rock Lobsters?? Think it will seat 12k nicely. Will be there in December for the B-52s so I’ll let them know PJ is looking for a venue👍🏽
the only option is state farm or a ball park. please no ball park. but hey, dont worry, they aint coming

12 years and counting since an appearance. Have hit numerous places around Atlanta since then - Nashville, Greenville, Jacksonville, Columbia, Charlotte, Lexington, Memphis, etc. - so I'm losing hope. Maybe brewdog is right.
Man, I’ll go to Shaky knees, but why can’t we just get a proper show for PJ? And not a festival? (Although I attended Midtown in 2012, and while hits heavy, that was fantastic show and it’s till an amazing boot. Plus that Munk One poster!)
if it is a festival set, i will not be happy. the only real option is state farm which i mentioned quite a while ago. i hope they announce a show, but i am not getting my hopes up

Earlier rumor was Lovin Life festival which is same weekend as Shaky Knees. Combined with the 4/29 Atlanta it seems Shaky Knees is a shaky rumor.

Speaking of Atlanta stories, I remember seeing a post on Facebook in May 2017...
The poster was a notary public at a FedEx/Kinko's in Atlanta circa 1994. It was near the end of the day and he got a phone call. The call went something like this:
"Hey, so I've got some stuff I need notarized."
"Bring it on down. Here's what we charge, but you'd better come quick because we close in 15 minutes."
"Oh no. That can't happen. You gotta come here."
"Well, it doesn't work that way. You gotta come down to the store. I don't travel." (He was kind of ticked off at this point.)
"This is REALLY important stuff for some VIPs. Whatever you charge, I'll pay triple plus $2000 extra plus whatever you want from the bar." (I've long-since forgotten what the bribe was, but I do remember the bar bit.)
"Ok. Fine. Whatever." I'm sure that was said with his eyes rolled as far back as they'd go.
"Thanks! When you come to the address, check in with your name at the front desk."
So the guy goes to the address and it's a hotel.
"Hey, I'm Bob the Notary. Someone sent for me."
"Absolutely. Take a seat and I'll send him down."
So a few minutes goes past and the guy comes to the lobby.
"Hey? You're Bob, right? Follow me."
The guy goes down a hallway, around a corner and down another hallway. Finally, they get to a maintenance closet.
They go into the closet and here's a secret elevator. They go into the secret elevator up into the secret penthouse suite.
In the suite? Guys named Matt, Ben, Chris and Kim.
Stuff was signed, payment made and you'd better believe drinks were had. (I don't think the guy had top-shelf stuff out of there for business or wanting to be nice.) He asked to be on the guest list that night, but it was always past capacity.

Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"
I’m ready to party… and then sleep in my own bed after the show! Which will be the first time I can ever say that for a PJ show that I have been to funny enough
