They're trying to piggyback off good info and some shaky assumptions:

    - I think the May 4th thing is a misinterpretation

I have no idea.  No faith in the dates either.  The dates could be what is penciled in today but change so frequently.   But want to be ready to pull the trigger if they do get announced.  I hope they don’t make us wait much longer.  There are a couple golf courses in Melbourne that only have three hours of tee times a week available to non-members.  Need to book ASAP.
    I have faith.

I booked my flights to Auckland then to the Gold Coast.
Booking fully refundable accommodation is smart. Booking flights 12 months out - ballsy!
    Come to send, not condescend...

The calm before the storm. To stay with the profession of weather forecasting - the topic here somehow reminds me a little of it.

Well sounds like the US leg 1 dates are pretty much definitive then. And now we await the announcement (I’m predicting mid-January).

All valid points.  I do not have direct knowledge, for the record.  However I have heard corroboration of a lot of the info from people that have generally had good info in the past.  That being said, in the past, on occasion, their info has been close but not exact.

There is allegedly a concert on the 17 there. It could be at a surrounding venue. T-Mobile or Michelob Ultra Arena could be it, Dolby Live (or whatever the theatre at Park MGM is)

Yea but since they usually do MGM and it is open 16/18 I'll bet the shows are almost surely there

This post made me think about putting a list together of cities PJ has played in the past that they never will again.  Memphis still has a good 50/50 shot with Nashville I would say.   But with probably ten years left of touring at most, the countdown is on and fans in smaller markets shouldn’t wait for them to come to their town (most fans probably figured that out a long time ago).
