  • Thinking of doing a UK trip (I live in Amsterdam). Fly out to Dublin then take the ferry to Manchester, then the train to London, and go back home by train. I can easily work remotely some of those days. Probably going alone, is it easy to meet up with fellow 10c'ers? Would be the first time doing something like this.

You are spot on, I was told TN VA NC SC with ROCK the Vote kicking off August.

  • Fenway, Philly, and MSG are all in play. I can't do all 3. But all are within driving distance. Fenway can be a down and back easy peasy.  Sunday show there should be fun. And Philly Saturday night would be fun too. Some cheap airbnb's in that area.  MSG mid week is probably the least accessible for me. But you never know.

I don't fancy Dublin. To expensive and i imagine a shit show leaving the site afterwards. But I bet that crowd is gonna be awesome
This is what I'm hearing, but I've wanted to see them in Ireland for a long time... I feel a little bit like 'now or neve'.

I've resolved to maybe leave a few songs early as we will be driving back to Wicklow, which is fine... we're going to do Manchester as well and our hotel there is walking distance, so we'll be there through the end of that one.
If your driving you’ll have no issue whatsoever, you can get parking pretty close to the venue and sneak back onto the motorway and back to Wicklow quick enough because marlay park is on the outer south side of Dublin beside the motorway. I’m sure on the week of, Pearl Jam Ireland group on Facebook will help out anyone needing directions/advice

That's some great advice, thank you. I'll definitely be tapping into the local's for tips.

I'm well familiar w/ Donegal & Leitrim & other points north & west... southside of Dublin & beyond is uncharted territory for me.  :)

Am I the only one planning to go to Missoula on a Thursday night (gainfully unemployed)? Gonna be a sweet private show.

The hotel prices look pretty good if you don't read the reviews!
Did they end up coming up with a date? It was blank when I looked last
I am planning on Missoula, me and a friend. I never saw a date, just an assumption in August, before Indy.
Missoula August 22, date doesn't work for me this time I love that town been to the last 2 there

You’ll likely be the first section on the side with that. That’s where I usually am at 139,xxx

I remember some of the Uk musical press reviewing the Leeds festival 2006 day and they were extremely negative about the show, and seemingly wrote about a totally different show to the one I had seen. PJ seem massive in the Uk yet almost unheard of at the same time. Im just not sure that works at Glastonbury.

This!!  Leeds 2006 was one of the best shows I've ever seen by any band. Certainly a turning point for me in going to see them live, as I'm not a big fan of festivals either.

Just looking for hotels around Tottenham, there is not a lot.  Any UK fans have recommendations?  what direction should I try from the stadium?  Had booked near the O2 arena and now that looks like a 1 hour bus ride now.

Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.

solo dates both , not festival. there is a curfew at 10 pm last time i check but they play a full show (in 2014 they played 2:30h) so i dont see a problem playing a 2:15h show now

  • As someone with a 700K number, is it even worth it to put in for Fenway? My seats will likely be pretty bad so it’s prob just better to wait for F2F right?

No need to stay near the stadium - the transport system is decent and - you can walk from Seven Sisters station in 20 -25 mins to avoid the bigger crowds after the gig and stay near a station on the Victoria line.
