Gotta be thankful that they are still together and do still tour, but it's also ok to be frustrated at times and to want more. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Totally agree with you.  It's frustrating as hell because they are one of the greatest live bands out there but at the same time they are one of the laziest touring bands in history.  Arguably during the height of their career they didn't play as much as they should.  1994 they played 29 shows and 95 they played 41.

Strongly concur. They have earned the right to do what they want, but a spades is a spade. In comparison to other similar bands, they are lazy.

They do not owe us anything. They have blessed us with some of the most soul touching music I've ever heard for decades. They have earned their money and because of that that gives them the right to do whatever they want at this stage in their lives, whether that be tour 10 shows or 100 or none. I chose to give up a career that involved being in concert production to be more present in my kids lives and that was my choice. I am mine. They are choosing to make new music and tour and I'm thankful I'm in a place to choose to travel to see them still. I wish I could see every show but that's not possible but I am so grateful for every one I do see because no bands music makes me this happy.

They've also outlasted most other bands and have basically the original lineup which is super rare. The rumored dates at this point puts 2024 at the most dates since, what 2006? I don't know how anyone can expect anything more. Maybe they'll be more shows in 2025 to fill in some of the other gaps, like the southeast U.S.

This article is BS. The Mariners have home games 5/28 and 5/30 so the shows could not possibly be at t-mobile park on those dates.
    Pre-game double header 😂

St. Louis was Billy Joel / Sting.  What did Seattle get? Billy Joel / Sting?

If a band member was reading these last few pages they'd be rolling their eyes Im sure.
Hopefully they don't sustain an eye injury forcing cancellation of the yet unannounced tour.

    This weekend we rock Portland

Yeah, but do you take that at the risk of not having them around today? Like say they play 100+ shows a year back in '94-95? Not sure they survive that.  They were pretty fragile back then lol.

How many did they do then? They were scheduled for 75 in 2000 and did a similar number in 2003. If not for suing Ticketmaster, they probably would have done more shows per year then. Eddie's stalker problem and the Neil stuff forced their hand there.

They probably could have done 100 shows. There were certainly a few years when they came real close.
