I’m on a pretty limited budget, but a first-run color audiophile pressing on two LPs is a no-brainer for me. I’ve been waiting for this one. Any idea when it’s supposed to be sent out?

I guess I'm getting old. Original Yield on vinyl, $10, the re-issue, $27 and now $55. Collecting music for 45 plus years and this is a bit of a chuckle!

Aren’t most VMP pressings somewhat limited anyways? Once it’s gone it’s gone.

@Santos L. Halper any details on why this release is 2LP instead of one like the past releases? Thanks in advance.

my assumption? sounds better when you have more space for songs on vinyl.

When VMP put out some Fiona Apple reissues, they sold out, but then pressed more and restocked about a year later.
Extraordinary Machine on green vinyl is an example of one that sold out, but they have more of right now.

Get your orders in now. Members $55 presale ends Monday, 2/27/23.

This is how ya do it. The folks in Australia will be happy when they wake up and have their coffee.
=)  This is the right way to do it… but this one is an easy pass for me.

I was suckered into buying the 2016 reissue when I already have an original (or 2). I don’t need any more copies, no matter how great this record is or how good it looks.

If they dont put pressing numbers it usually means they will make another pressing if there is demand.  So they'll probably make like 5 - 10 thousand of these depending on initial demand and close it off.  Then they'll add a join waitlist option for it and when there is enough demand they'll press more.

I don’t care about the “look” as much the audio quality. Pressed on 2 LPs with care, this should sound better than the other pressings.

I have some other VMP presses and they sound amazing. But I'm personally tiring of 2 LP releases. They can sound better, but having to get up to flip the record so often is getting annoying for me. Especially for albums like The Who's Tommy. Even the newer versions are Side A/D and B/C. I usually stick to the cd for that one.

    Depends.

Isn't the consensus that the one LP original Vitalogy sounds better than the double Vinyl re-issue?

Scared of what it might cost in Oz 😔 might pass and get it at a later date sans shipping. Would’ve been cool to include Leatherman which I think still fits nicely in the album somewhere. Always preferred it to Pilate.
