Does anyone find the marketing blurb a little unusual? Yield is now available "in ultra-high definition
sound for the ultimate listening experience." Why buy the vinyl when they're admitting it's not the ultimate listening experience? lol
Get yourself a pair of AirPod Pro 2s and hear this album like never before. Put that $70 towards it!!
I agree, listing to 180 gram vinyl is an amzing experience. But I digagree on listing to it on wireless headphones, for me I know i would do errands and not really listen to it, I prefer being plugged in.

Not everyone wants the ultimate listening experience. Maybe some people just want a cool tangible.
I need more expericences, more memories, more time with friends...
Lost time with COVID, life still moves on...
Give me more shows, more music... Not more of the same...
I thought 3 years of break would have imparted some urgency, not more reissues.... I love yield... But.. I want to hear them play it.. not a recording....
Alas..mm
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.
I always say, any commercial item is worth what someone will pay for it. Personally, this record is not worth what they are asking. I already have the wonderful sounding OG and the vastly inferior RE. Hard pass.

This indeed. Yield is still an excellent album and this is a gorgeous looking edition but since I got the cd and the reissue vinyl from a few years back this is just too much money for me. Including shipping to The Netherlands (wich has gotten cheaper from 10C) and custom taxes it`s over $84. In these times that`s just too much for me, for something I already own twice.
Heads up- now that non-members can purchase this on VMP, you can use a referral code and get $10 off. My total came to $58, no tax either which was nice. Still way overpriced, but better than the $70+ at 10C. As this is quite probably the only band I'd splurge for, I'm okay with it I guess.
If you want to purchase, do. If you don't, don't. Might help clear things up for you all. The end.

You're right. I was feeling snarky. Pages of comments on why not to buy something has been fun to read, we need more of that.

You are free to not read page after page of consumer feedback, particularly if it isn’t fun. Quite often I don’t as I’m not a big merch guy. However, I am a vinyl enthusiast and wanted the band to know that $70US for a record, whether it is coloured, is 180g, is a 2LP, or has Hummus on it or not, is pretty ridiculous especially when already having other copies. Then to flout that it’s being pressed at a new “audiophile” pressing plant and this is the first pressing from that plant is rather disingenuous, as I would have further concerns about QA on these records without any history. Sounds like this record is more in Guinea pig territory.
I’ve already stopped buying a lot of vinyl because of warped 180g records. What if this already overpriced record shows up warped, scuffed, etc.?Just another hassle. I’ve gone back to looking for used vinyl, digging in the bins.
I would advise people to find a VG+ OG copy rather than shell out for this, but that’s just my opinion.

wait, why does spottily have yield shirts left and 10c doesn't? lol. I was thinking of buying a spare or two if it fits well.
