Perplexed some of you are canceling your orders. Yeah, I get being upset it's not being pressed at VMP, but Furnace my has a pretty good track record and Levi is still cutting the lacquers, which is what mostly masters (as well as the pressing isn't crap.)
More than likely this is going to be great.

For me it was just about another delay. I was excited to order it in Feb but now don’t really care for it.
I am not really concerned about the delay. My point was if this was supposed to be high end vinyl at that price point, we should get what was advertised. I would have preferred it be delayed until VMP plant was running.
I am surprised that VMP is surprised they ran into permitting issues in Denver. I would be shocked if that plant is open by mid 2024.
I am surprised VMP committed to an "inaugural pressing" without having everything locked down.
I wish there was a way to cancel. I would be cool with the remastered vinyl that was just released a month or so ago for a fraction of the price.
there was no remastered vinyl released since the 2016 reissue. If you picked up something recently it was just a repress of this 2016 reissue. It was not remastered for vinyl in anyway.
Interesting. Yield has not been in any local record shops for years. Then all of a sudden it started showing up a month or so ago. Good to know it’s just the 2016 reissue.
This is a 45 speed right? I for 1 didnt know t hat when I bought it. Maybe thats why people are canceling.
45 rpm means more information in the grooves = better fidelity. All of my 45rpm remasters are among my best sounding records.
I bought this in part because the 45rpm pressing showed they are serious about a high-fidelity release.
Keeping my order.
