Murder is a very “ordinary” crime in ‘Murica. If not, why the degrees? If not, why the inability to reasonably restrict firearms? Oh, silly me, 2A. Why sentencing disparities and fancy definitions, like “crime of passion,” “stood their ground,” or “self defence?” Why “accidental” or “with a car, drunk,” is different than “shot them while they slept?” Because murder in ‘Murica is ordinary. Pro-life my ass.
Firearms are restricted... Not to the degree you'd like but they are.

We are also fascinated by the macabre, hence the new found interest in Dahmer.  We haven't had, thank goodness, someone like Dahmer in 30 years.

Four guys shot, chopped up and tossed in a river in OK. Seems almost “ordinary.”

And those violations of firearms restrictions sure do put the hurt on the ease of availability, access and “responsible” use, possession and ownership, right?

4 people is nothing to what Dahmer did.  Not in any stretch.  Not saying that it's nothing either but what he did was literally insane.

Hell, there is a whole entertainment industry built upon the real life murders of people in ‘Murica and we seem to celebrate the celebrity of it. Dahmer anyone? Yea, pretty ordinary.

No shit!  Imagine being a family members of one of Dahmer's victims and seeing his horrific acts being glorified on television and having hoards of Americans eat that shit up.  It's disgusting.  This country loves violence.  It thrives on violence.  It has become defined by violence.

This is true to a very big degree but not all was founded on violence.  My Amish relatives going way back, for example, move here to gain religious freedom.  I believe others did as well.

Those families, if mentioned, are supposed to be paid I believe.  They started doing this because of Manson I think?  One of the crazies was making money and the deceased families were entitled to it.

What country or area of land was not "founded" by violence?  I'm seriously asking, cause in my head it seems that most land, etc was won via war.

How many countries got their independence and kept it without any violence?  Many countries have a far more violent history than USA does.
