So, you enjoyed that Pearl Jam show huh?

…come to the message board to check out the fanviews?  Want to share some warm vibes, reminisce on some nice moments?

Well you can take that shit to facebook because out here on The Porch we are here to explain to you why you most certainly did NOT enjoy that show.

For this band we’ve traveled thousands of miles and spent thousands of dollars seeing shows and amassing more bootlegs, posters, lighters and poster tubes than we want to admit (to our families) so we have just the right amount of experience, wisdom, entitlement, and expectations to kill your vibe.

So… cool your fuckin jets, sit back and scroll while we break down the reasons that whatever show or album it was you think was so special, was not.

  • I mean, if you’re going to be a hater and claim to be an expert with posting your critiques, you should at least have the basic knowledge to be on the Given to Fly section, not the Porch.

But hey, if you don’t like the shows, don’t go.  Especially if you have a better number than I do.

you are wrong sir, mam, or otherwise.   I thoroughly enjoyed the oakland shows this year.  The first show had an amazing vibe due to the the last minute drummer replacement, and the 2nd night had an amazing setlist.   I heard an amazing full live version of W.M.A.

I felt the airplane tickets, concert tickets, hotel, was money well spent.

    I had a good time :)

plus the food in san fran was awesome.  Plus I got Covid and now feel invincible! :)

Post lacks context.  Most of the posts here are positive.  But constructive criticism is fine, and keeps this site from being a bunch of sycophants in an echo chamber saying how great everything is.  These aren't gods.
I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.

And you obviously didn't like the PJ Show? Oh, I'm sorry for you...I enjoyed the two shows I went to (Berlin and Frankfurt) to the fullest and the money I spent on them (travel expenses, hotel, tickets, meals, merch. ..) was money well spent.

Methinks the original poster is saying that the Porch/Forum is too negative and people nitpick too much about setlists, merch, etc.
