Did anyone else hear a little bit of Outshined from Mike?
It was man in the Box.
Correct
I think it was "It Ain't Like That", at least the bit I heard!
That’s what I heard. Caused Eddie to chuckle.

Radio mix isn't going to sound anything like how things sound in the house. As for the vibe, to me they sound like a band that had to stop a set after five songs, wait for 30 minutes in a hot room full of people, half of whom are industry folks/VIPs and contest winners, and then try to re-start with a few tuning issues and what sounds to me like maybe monitor issues too, at the very least. Can't imagine it went the way anyone hoped/expected it would. But I think expecting it to be like the Vic or the Moore shows was off-base to begin with. Whole different deal.

I must say, it definitely is a shame that SiriusXM sort of has a monopoly on this venue for notable bands - Guns N' Roses was the same way too where they broadcasted their show at this venue a couple years back and reports were it was mostly celebs and insiders too
I just find it strange that the venue known for housing James Brown and other pure and true musicians is now the hub for celebrity and media indulgence as opposed to the actual performers onstage
That isn't Pearl Jam's fault of course, I am sure they don't have a say if they want to do a date at this historic venue

I disagree. The 1994 Atlanta radio shows sound better than this. I think it's perfectly reasonable to expect quality out of Sirius.

Seconded. I commented either here or in the other thread that the 1994 Atlanta show sounded better on the radio than any live broadcast or any bootleg CD I've ever heard. Even my cassette recording of it off the radio sounds phenomenal.
(Although, again, I have to say that I am somehow not having the same experience as everyone else tonight. It sounds good where I am. Are people listening on phones or something?)

It wasn’t 30 minutes. Don’t start making stuff up
I had it at 16 minutes, from 10:02 p.m. to 10:18 p.m. EDT.
